I'm a Vauxhall fan, I make no bones about it. I am a fan of this small, sweet and nippy car and of the Astra Coupe's and Cabriolets.

This is my 2nd Corsa, having been the owner of a Corsa Club.

This is very much the same car as the club apart from the fabric of theinterior has been brought into the 21st century on my silver one, although they still market the cream interior quite strongly, it has a basic CD player and radio and electric windows & remote central locking. The plastic of the rest of the interior remains tacky however.

Road handling has improved a notch, road humps are slightly more agreeable with this car although it still has the jolt on going up the humps. The ride is still relatively smooth and comfortabel although Vauxhall still need to deal with the hard seat cushions that plagued my back in the Club model and continue to do so in the Life model.

Another slight snag if you're little like me, is they still have an awful blind spot for reversing if you have the 3 door model, this spot the at the back and all it would take from vauhall is to make the passenger windows slightly bigger and therefore the frame narrower on this back corner and the car would be A1.

The one thing vauxhall have done which I'm unsure if this is a good or a bad thing, is they have removed the the middle headrest in the back of the car, there isn't really room for 3 passengers comfortabley in the back and so they've removed that headrest but they still include a middle inertai reel seatbelt, something that baffles me.

I paid £6495 for my Life on brand new but registered 55 reg car with delivery mileage. With that I got free tax, 3 years warranty, free insurance for a year and 1 year AA cover. This was from a Vauxhall main dealer.

Unlike the Club I had previously, I have had one problem with this car which has required it to be returned to the deler, an annoying squeak on driving, this turned out to be something with one of the wheels but was promptly repaired with no charge.

This is a great car and Vauxhall have noted changes needed from the club model in cosmetic terms but they have yet to structural change some essentials on this car, like the blind spot.

All in all, yet again and good basic car, it's reliable but I don' think the fuel consumtpion is as good as it was, I was in the club model 316 miles to a full tank and I'm now 297, minimla but it does make a difference.

I am please with this car but as a fan I am biased, I fully intend to trade mine in when my finance agreement is up in 3 years and get an SXi model.

Disadvantages:
Still has the annoying blind spot
Still uncomfortable on long drives
Interior is slightly tacky this time around
Fuel economy is reduced, don't know why?
Rear headrest removed, seatbelt remains, Why?

Advanatages:
Reliable
Good all round basic car
Finance deals are good
Dealer extras and good but do push for them
Drve is smoother
Heaters are better.
Good price on registered models
Good customer care

Trade in value will probably depreciate again but if you can afford it, get a 5 door model to esacape the terrible blind spot.
