First of all let me tell you about how this car handles.
To put it bluntly its like a Go-kart with bold tyres.
Wacking down the 123bhp at say 65-70mph, makes you thank Vauxhall for ... ...
Driving at these averagly high speeds at the best of times sometimes proves challenging. The car makes you use those handy skills of yours very easily.
Without these fittings to the car I would no doubt be in a car show doing 360's and 180's very easily.
Although this may be a problem to some of you, I find that you get use to driving this car and still you find the car exciting to drive.

First of all let me tell you about how this car handles.
To put it bluntly its like a Go-kart with bold tyres.
Wacking down the 123bhp at say 65-70mph, makes you thank Vauxhall for fitting the Traction Control and ABS to the car.

The Interior to this car is a total mix of dislikes and likes, for me anyway.
Sitting in the comfy sport designed car seat with your feet resting on the pedals is quite nice.
Although the car is comfortable the pedals are maybe a little to the right which does annoy you now and again! But they aren't too close so its not all bad.
The alloy look dash is certainly different. I personally don't like the way its shaped but you make think different.
But the sporty white dials and in-dash 4 disk CD changer with 6 speakers and remote controls make this O.k I guess.
But the greatest thing about the inside of this car is that its totally massive though you wouldn't think it by the outside.
Same as for the boot space, they are really big for the size of ther car which really pleases you and anyone sat in the car! ------------------------------------------------------
As for Bodystyling, I will be honest and say there's not much to talk about.
Its an SRi so you think it would be way different from the other standards, well.....
It does come with alloy wheels, smoked clusters, side skirts and tale pipe trim.
It is a very aero dynamic looking car with plenty of curves and smooth shapes.
But, so much so the way I think about the look of this car, I have recently added chunky side skirts, roof spoiler and twin exhaust.
The roof spoiler was hell to get infact, I had to get some mates to order one similar and modify it for the car. ------------------------------------------------------
The Performance of the car is unbelieveable. If your quick on the pedals your able to shoot of the lights in 0-60 in 8secs.
Now on the book, its max speed is supposedly 126mph which I dont wish to comment on, but I am sure with any car, the max is able to push! Now for a little car, its amazing!
It does me about 35p per mile and 35mpg. It seems fair, its an SRi. But its not a cheap car as it cost me £12,995. ------------------------------------------------------
I would recommend this car more for the younger people like myself. This car has lots of potential to become something spectacular.
In the rain especially, driving is different, but thats why its an exciting drive and I would say its one of those cars with its ups+downs!
My advice is, find it second hand, if not find the best deal as its not a cheap car and it wont be to have neither!
Its a well refined car, very well designed, but depending on you, its a car you either dont like or do like.
But all in all its still a great car which has mounts of potential!
I hope this has given you a good idea about this car, Chunka!
7.40am:Monday morning approaching the rather large traffic light flooded roundabout.
7:41am:Monday morning a few seconds from it!
7:45am: On it. But in a weird way! Why? and How?
As I come to the roundabout, the lights were changing to red. I was at a steady speed like all other 17yr old lads late for work!
Noticing a lorry tasting my arse seems usual as here in the south, lorries are always around the docks where I live.
However, he liked the taste too much!, I'm too clean. As i dropped my speed, obeying the law, as usual? well, I was anyway, this time, he smacked me up the arse sending me and my little Corsa on to the center verge!
I got a lovely view of people slowing and looking, also in the view was a little blood on my left arm which I violently caught on... I don't know, but it hurt.
People were very kind even the lorry driver. The police arrived first then 3 ambulances, 3? I don't know why, but they did!
As the police were taking my statement, the lorry driver was being seen to by the paramedics, maybe for mental help.
After that, he apologized and things were sorted as in contact number and his company insurance details.
He told me that he went to get a tissue out the side pocket, by then he had crashed. I still think he's stupid though, what a thing to do when approaching traffic lights let alone, a roundabout.
Although I am grateful for his apology.
Luckily, I was in front first at the lights and also very luckily, I was actually at a low speed.
I thank my Mum for wishing me a good day that morning on the phone before I left!
Just to let you know that now, this very nice (work) SRi Corsa of mine now has one major unidentifyable back and boot!
Advantages: Styling, handling, performance Disadvantages: Sat Nav display
This is a review for the corsa SRi 1.7 CDTi but seeing as there is no category for it and i am new to this so dont know how to create one, i thought i would put it here. before Purchasing my Corsa i couyld find no reviews anywhere on the net for the new 1.7 CDTi variant, so hopefully this will help others!!
ok well i took delivery of my corsa about 3 weeks ago and i still think it is superb. Its thebest car ive owned , so far!! I went for the CDTi ... ...for a couple of reasons, mainly insurance and running costs. The performance of the engine is exellent, especially when the turbo kicks in which makes it great for overtaking. And there is no worrys if u go into a corner too fast the stifened and lowered suspension and fat tyresmeans tehres no problem, and if something jumps out in front of you you can stop almost instantly!! The breaks are exellent and are assisted with EBD and ABS so you wont lose ...

Advantages: Quick off the lights, not too expenisve to insure. Disadvantages: Fuel economy
I've had my VauxhallCorsa SRi 1.8i 16v for almost 3 years now and love it jsut as much as when I first bought it.
It's very nippy with a big engine for a relatively small body. It pulls away quickly and still has some acceleration left when you need to pull out into the outside lane of the motorway and keep up with the flow of the traffic.
I find the ride comfortable wth enough leg room and head room although my parnter does experience difficulties with the rear view mirror taking up too much windscreen space and blocking his vision. I blame him for this for being over 6 feet tall! It's not the easiest of cars to get in the back as it is a 3 door hatchback but once in it is relatively comfortable. If it's space that you are after then this isn't the car for you. The boot space isn't huge, just enough room for a weekly shop but as ...
Advantages: Fun, Pratical, Stylish.... Disadvantages: None to be honest!
After someone crashing into the back of my Mitsubishi Galant V6 & writing it off, I was looking for a replacement car.
I already own a 52 reg Corsa C SXi 1.2 16v but wanted similar power to the Galant, thats when I saw the 1.8 SRi & fell in love with it instantly.
I bought a SRi 2004 1.8 in Ultra Blue for £6995 with 15k on the clock.
First looks of the SRi:
Looks very sporty but very under rated in my opinion & looks can be deceiving when it comes to the performance of this car.
Driving the SRi:
The SRi is a great car to drive, you can drive as normal getting great mpg (35) & comfort all day long.
But when you want the evil, fun side of the SRi............Simply put the foot down and the fun begins.
The acceleration is unbelievable of this little car, mines is 7.5s 0-60mph, Top speed is 130+mph
Driving at high speeds is ...
Advantages: Quick and reliable Disadvantages: Not the best for MPG
Its a fab little car. The looks and comfort are that of any Corsa, but the drive is 100 times better than the Corsa SXi. It is a lot quicker and nippier, and the handling is immaculate. I love Corsas as they are really great value and come with everything you. It is safe, very reliable, good-looking, stylish, fast and fun! The only one disadvantage is that the MPG is not as good as that of the Corsa1.2, but for a 1.8 injection, its not bad at all!!! The interior of the car is the same as all other Corsas and comes as standard with remote locking, electric windows, PAS< CD player. Its very spacious adn comfortable inside. I love it and recommend it to anyone!!! ...
