Saying Goodbye
Review of Vauxhall Meriva 1.6 Life 8V by

Advantages: Runs well - no major mechanical or electrical problems with it.
Disadvantages: Bad visibility, high emissions and terrible petrol consumption.
...carrier. Part of the Vauxhall range, I did a bit of background checking on this car before I got it both from manufacturer sites and from sites such as Ciao and Dooyoo.
The reason I needed another car was because my Scenic at the time was developing problems and I would have had to spend quite a bit of money on it. I loved the Scenic so was sorry to see it go but still needed a car with five proper seats, as at the time I had three children living ... ...a good deal from the Vauxhall Dealership who also offered me a year's free Network Q guarantee. This is apparently one of the best warranties around and although I only had to use it for a small fault with a sensor light, I had no costs to pay and the garage dealt with me quickly and efficiently. I can't fault the Vauxhall after service at all. My Meriva is coloured a bright blue, just like the one in the picture at the top, which did catch my eye ...

A great car. Had one for 18 months - no problems
Review of Vauxhall Meriva Life 1.6i 16v by

Advantages: Roomy, Flexible, High Ride Position,
Disadvantages: Wide Window Pillars at Front, Extra Kit costs extra
...in and out. The vauxhall zafira clever seats have also also been employed here. They are easy to use. The car turns into a small van. There lots of 'extras' that you can have in the car.
To sum up - good drive, great seat felxibility, good position, Very reliable. No 'new car gremlins' . At its original selling price, its a little overpriced. With discounts and offers its well worth a look. ...

Spacious, reliable and value for money
Review of Vauxhall Meriva Life 1.4i 16v by
richysgirl
Advantages: Comfortable, spacious, reliable and economical
Disadvantages: Couldn't turn off front passenger airbag for use with rear-facing childseat
With a baby on the way I was looking for a car that gave me plenty of room, was easy to drive but also value for money and economical. I don't think that any other car fitted my requirements as well as the Meriva.
The Meriva drives like a small car but has loads of interior space and is very flexible. The splittable rear seats move on rails and can be made completely flat for transporting large items. The inside feels sturdy and having owned this ... ...am not at all worried about future servicing or the MOT that will be due in November. I have so far only had to replace 2 tyres which only cost me £35 each. Bargain! My insurance is very low (£290 pa) and the road tax costs me £145 pa. The car came with a CD player and air conditioning as standard. The high roof and plenty of leg room makes for a comfortable passenger experience. The interior is tasteful and the black/grey fabric has not worn even ...

Meriva Steptronic
Review of Vauxhall Meriva Design 1.6i 16v by
Trendyvic
Advantages: Flexible use of space, economical
Disadvantages: Front struts obscure view
Just changed from Hyundai Sante Fe - very expensice to run, to a Meriva 1.6 Steptronic (semi automatic) Active.
I thought we would notice the lack of size - the Sante Fe is massive. However, the car looks tiny in comparison from the outside, but on the inside, the smallness is not that much noticeable. We can still fit our three children across the back seat - we could get two adults and a small child (not the three adults that easily sat across ... ...the leg room we were used too - but hey I can still get in the back with the front seats pushed as far back as possible and I have long legs and am 6ft tall. The boot space is also large and can be made larger by means of the flexible seating.
The driving position is also good, we are still higher than most other cars so have a good view of the road. Unfortunately the view is spoilt by the front struts which means you have to really move your head ...

The name says it all an ENJOY to drive
Review of Vauxhall Meriva Enjoy 1.6i 16v by
carol181
Advantages: Good reliable plenty of space
Disadvantages: replacing light bulbs - you have to dismantle the whole compartment
...fancyness. Like with all vauxhall cars the meriva is sturdy and reliable. A good all round family car. Even if you want to use it to transport household goods, its back seats are easy to fold down. The back area can easily be converted into room for 3 people , totalling five all together or you can convert the back seat for 2 extra passengers. The seats are easy to adjust. The meriva has plenty of leg space if you have tall friends or family. Its ... ...seat if a small out of the way compartment if you need to tuck away paper work or cds out of view. The mervia is a little pricey but its worth its money. And the vauxhall dealership and customer service has always been top of the table. ...
