Disadvantages: Front struts obscure view

Just changed from Hyundai Sante Fe - very expensice to run, to a Meriva 1.6 Steptronic (semi automatic) Active. I thought we would notice the lack of size - the Sante Fe is massive. However, the car looks tiny in comparison from the outside, but on the inside, the smallness is not that much noticeable. ...the leg room we were used too - but hey I can still get in the back with the front seats pushed as far back as possible and I have long legs and am 6ft tall. The boot space is also large and can be made larger by means of the flexible seating. The driving position is also good, we are still higher than most other cars so have a good view of the road. I bought a new meriva in 2004 and i adore it. It handles superb and has a great high driving position. my partner is 6ft 4in and he has no probs in fitting in comfortably. We were looking at a zafira when we bought it but found it a little out of our budget. All considering we did not really need 7 seats! ...in the back for the kids and sat nav in the front. cup holders and a drivers mirror are other helpful touches, but the best thing has to be the space lots of leg and head room but spacious enough for a settee in the back what more can you ask for. Disadvantages: Some annoying rattles at low speeds

I bought the car new 15 months ago and I am generally very pleased with it. It is nippy, handles well and it economical to run - a recent trip to France, using the Autoroutes and cruise control, it returned just under 40 MPG.
