The Meriva is a good quality, family mini MPV.
The term mini MPV refers to a small 'Multi Passenger Vehicle'. That is exactly what the Vauxhall Meriva is. Cheap, cheerful and pratical.
The space is very good for the size of car. The Meriva is not much larger than the Vauxhall Corsa, but the clever design allows for much more room. This is great news for anyone wishing to take materials to work, or just take the kids to school. The space is unmatched for the size of car, and you will rarely find that you need more room (unless of course you want to move the sofa!)
For a cheap car, you get what you pay for. A neutral basic interior, that is hard wearing and pratical. Everything is easy to use and clearly laid out within the car.
The 1.4 engine is very nippy for city travel. The handling is spot on and very easy to master. The engine is very reliable (I have never had any problems), and being a cheap car, if something does go wrong, the repair bills will not break the bank. This is designed as a city car, for families. The Meriva was never designed to be a Ferrari beater, just a pratical family runabout.
If you want a cheap, pratical car with tons of space, without taking to much room, the Vauxhall Meriva is the quailty choice.
