Advantages: Luxury Driving at Cheap Prices Disadvantages: Petrol Consumption
...The Omega is the first ever VauxhallI have owned, and it's authomatic, another first! Well worht the money make sure you get hold of a V6 if possible as this is the engine we have and it's just goes on forever, we have covered over 120k miles in the last 5 years and the car drives as new. Cheap to insure and a pleasure to drive, this is luxury at a very affordable price. Ideal for famililes, great for those long motorway journey's with cruise control an absolute must have, 6 disc CD player. The cars look and drive amazingly, the only draw back is consumption of petrol is quite high so not so great for just nipping about town, but for longer trips ideal....

Advantages: Comfort, Style, reliability. Disadvantages: Tend to get oil leaks from oil breather tube at side of engine.
...I HAVE OWNED TWO Omega's, Both CD's and I much prefer the manual transmission model.
The newer facelift madel is a great car, good safety equipment, and the ABS brakes stop the car under full control. The interior is a bit plascticy but none the more for that the interior is well laid out. It is most at home on a motorway. The exterior looks can hold their own when parked alongside more prestigous makes. Climate control makes driving in hot weather a pleasure and on long distances there is very little driver fatigue. My car has xenon headlights and four electric windows, 4 airbags and armchair comfort. A real drivers car. This is the best vauxhall for comfort by far. Please GM change your minds and restart production....

...It's hard to critise a car where the ride and handling are smooth and suited to its size and image, where the fit and finish is near perfect and the equipment levels are high. In two litre form this is true of the Omega but it fails to impress.
The Omega is a nearly car - the faults are small but exist. Firstly a two litre engine is only just sufficent in todays market for this class of car, combine air conditioning and automatic transmission with a heavy body and the promise of performance soon vanishes.
The equipment looks good on first inspection but it doesn't take long to find the missing bits of kit - for example the CD is single disc only and the electric windows limited to the front.
Overall this car looks better on the driveway than it is on drive on the open road....

These black, sleek looking phones really stand out from the crowd. With a blue light up screen they looked fantastic in the Argos catalogue. With a current deal on to save £10.00, at £59.95 these phones did not seem like a bad buy.

If any two films were different sides of the same coin, then The Omega Man and Silent Running would be the prime example.
For while the former dealt with the preservation of the ecological and evolutionary status quo in the aftermath of armageddon,... more
