Tigra,Tiger or Trouble
Review of Vauxhall Tigra 1.6i by skewenbabe

Advantages: Great fun, sporty, quick and handles well.
Disadvantages: Tiny inside, prone to certain problems.

...mechanics there general opinion is Vauxhall have a lot of problems with their engine management systems. Also the drainage holes just inside the boot lip fill with water and I have to scrape debris out reguarly. Having said all this I can't help loving my Tigra, it's fun, neat, snazzy and boy doesn't it go when I need it to (as long as the engine management light isn't on!) I am however selling now as my husband has had enough and says I do need ...
...however that even though it has cost me lots in repairs it is very economical and i'd like to think that other Tigras wouldn't have as many problems as mine did because after all they really are a fabulous car - for a lady! I know I will lose a lot of money on the Tigra overall though because i'll have to take into account the cost of repairs to date. Considering I bought it for £1350 in July it's cost me over £400 in repairs (oh I forgot i didn't ... Read review

excellant little car
Review of Vauxhall Tigra 1.4i by mattakers

Advantages: looks good, comfortable and easy to drive
Disadvantages: no back seat

The Tigra sport version has all the refinments you would be looking for in a small sports car without breaking the bank. Electric windows air con cd etc. good choice of colours, two tone options. To convert to open top takes less than twenty seconds and looks flash. Very easy to drive same set up as the corsa, but more comfortable in side. Very smooth ride compared to some sports cars but perhaps not as flash as more expensive cars, still turns ... Read review

Tigra - Chunky fun
Review of Vauxhall Tigra 1.4i 16v by julieg1977

Advantages: Fun to drive, economical
Disadvantages: Inside is of basic standard

The 17" alloy wheels, low suspension and compact length make the Tigra look chunky and sturdy. From the front it's hard to distinguish the Tigra from an Astra or a Corsa. There's no mistaking it from the back though as (apart from the Tigra badge) there's a chunky boot with plenty of space that houses the folded-down roof (and still leaves you with enough space to go shopping). It sticks to the road very well and feels solid... with the roof up. ...
...sturdy. Like any structure, it's strengenthed by it's frame and when you remove a piece of that frame it feels a bit 'wobbly'. There's definately more movement in the car with the roof down. Inside you'd be forgiven for thinking that you were sitting in a Corsa, that is until you look behind you and notice that there are no back seats! Instead theres very handy storage area behind the seats. There's plenty of legroom but, if you're tall and your ... Read review

Lovely car
Review of Vauxhall Tigra Sport 1.8i 16v by sb0u011e

Advantages: Cute sporty roadster,
Disadvantages: Only two seats

...with transponders which allow a Vauxhall approved child seat to be fitted, I found that the car felt too small and less spacious with the seat in place. On the otherhand with the roof up the boot compartment is relatively large and a full size silver cross pram stowed nicely! I would recommend this car to anyone looking for an affordable convertible who has no family plans as of yet. However, beware as the depriciation of the car was high when I ... Read review

Vauxhall tigra (FEEL A MILLION POUNDS)
Review of Vauxhall Tigra Sport 1.4i 16v by gemnewbie21

Advantages: Very fast and classy. superb on petrol
Disadvantages: Shame not more seats

This was always my idea of my girl dream car and it is. Its superb! I do quite alot of travelling & this car is excellent for petrol consumption. Not only is the car good on petrol consumption it is so comfortable. The car has heated leather seats which is amazing when driving as they heat up so quick. Also the interior is just as classy as the exterior. the car gains speed really quickly and is so nippy. I feel like a james bond girl in the car. ... Read review
