Review of Vauxhall VX220 2.0i 16v Turbo by littlemissh13

Advantages: Speed, none of the disadvantages makes a difference
Disadvantages: ease of access, lack of luxuy

This is a seriously cool car. 0 -60 in just over 4 seconds - what can you stay. when you acceleratre it feels like an electric shock in the pit of your stomach. And it looks stunning. On the downside, it is totally impractical for a lot of people, getting in the car if you have the roof on is your first big challenge believe me it is not easy, and i'm onl 5 foot 4, however with a bit of practice its not too bad. Also don't expect any creature comforts, ...
...or power steering ( but this car doesn't need it.). and the boot is a little on the small side as is the petrol tank which at todays prices only holds £30 worth or petrol. However none of the above matters one iota, this car wasn't built for that it was built with just one objective in mind ....Speed!!!!! the person who buys this car isn't gonna be interested in a few missing luxuries, you buy this car for the purpose it was made .. to drive ......Fast. ... excelent car for any sports car fanatics
Review of Vauxhall VX220 2.0i 16v Turbo by greg905

Advantages: V. fun drive, good looking, gets u noticed
Disadvantages: Comfort, space, features

If you are looking for the car that will get u noticed, that will turn the heads of even the least likely, then this is the place to look. With a body and chassi designed by lotus (along the lines of the elise) and an engine built by vauxhall, a lot more powerfull than the elise, this is one hell of a ride. 0- 60 in 4.7 seconds really gives you a kick and it feels great. The looks of this car beat most super cars and for the price of your average ... Read review

A Petrol-head's Vauxhall
Review of Vauxhall VX220 2.0i 16v Turbo by bazmansealey

Advantages: Fun car, very fast
Disadvantages: No creature comforts

Yep, you read right. Vauxhall have made a sporty car, along with the help of Lotus as the VX220 uses the Elise chassis and interior. And what a job they've made of it. This is without a doubt the most stylish car that Vauxhall have made. At a cost price of £23000 (base price) you might expect all the bells and whistles, however, with no power steering, no air-con and no electrics (windows, seats) You would be out of luck. What you do get for your ...
...that you can just throw around corners. With a 0-60 speed of 5.8 secs the acceleration you feel pushes you back in the seat, and forces any water on the bonnet onto the windscreen. The top speed isn't really fantastic (140 mph I think) but this car was built for low end torque power. The exterior styling is fantastic, the wheel arches are well above the bonnet where there is two nice vents. The front end looks menacing with the sharp headlights. ... Read review
