* Vauxhall Brava Boob job .
Review of Vauxhall Brava 4 x 2 Doublecab by smudgeybabes

Advantages: Cheap, decent site pickup.
Disadvantages: No longer made.

...I wonder if Vauxhall tried this before the naming ceremony? Vauxhall Brava - Oh, just a couple of small points, Oops! another boob, Sorry. Made me titter, Oops, sorry again! Seriously, I just mean that this is not actually a Vauxhall at all, it is a joint venture, with Isuzu providing the vehicle, and Vauxhall providing the badges for the UK versions.I will explain that this is also sold in Austrailia and many other parts of the world. Production ...
...- The Vauxhall company celebrated its Centenary in 2003. They have been making cars and vans for a considerable amount of time, and have also gained a vast amount of experience of commercial vehicles, more than Isuzu in fact. The AA (Automobile Association, not the other one) used hundreds of these, all with their own custom bodies. They were also used by HM Coastguard and many more large organisations. 4x2 - let me just explain what this means, ... Read review

A good workhorse but you'll be glad to get out!
Review of Vauxhall Combo GLS by kitwaites

Advantages: cheap to run, repair and reasonably fast
Disadvantages: cab cramped, trim poor quality, gears close together

I recently bought an old Vauxhall Combo 1994 - unlike Escorts, these don't seem to suffer the same problems with rust except on the "hump" above the cab, which is definitely good for MOTs. They're cheap and plentiful second hand, cost almost nothing to insure and certainly seem to last. Newer models have an Vauxhall Diesel engine 1.9 however mine has the Izuzu 1.7 - not that I am complaining, they're built like houses and are incredibly economical, ...
...All in all the Vauxhall Combo is an good cheap van - not amazing, and you will be glad to get out of it at the end of the day due to the cramped cabin, however, it's reasonable to drive and will get the job done - exactly what you need from a van. ... Read review

Astravan 1.7 CDTI 05 Plate.
Review of Vauxhall Astravan LS by codiak

Advantages: Good Milage and Very Quick
Disadvantages: Lots of road noise, manual windows

...bit of carpet ot a vauxhall anti-slip mat to stick in the back to reduce it a little, or just turn up the radio and go slowly deaf. i was fortunate to get a VDO Dayton multimedia / sat nav head unit consisting of rds radio with traffic news, CD player with to add a multi changer and of course sat nav. i understand the standard issue one is rather naff. having only ever driven 2 othre vans before when moving 1 a transit and the other a vauxhal movano ...
...they do lack the acceleration and power of the astra. Safety: this van features drivers airbag and seat belt tensioners so if you do have a bump your not going to be thrown very far. On the point of fuel, the van will get about 120 miles per quarter of a tank, in most driving conditions this is a plus considering the cost of fuel, but the fuel guage can do some strange things when you get to your last quarter tank, like flash the light for low ... Movano 3500 High Roof
Review of Vauxhall Movano Panel Van by dragon-steve

Advantages: size, easy to own, handles well, cheap to run
Disadvantages: driveshafts in early models

I have owned a 2000 Movano high roof with a 2.5 diesel engine for about 8 months, bought from a local dealer with 100,000 miles on the clock. I have found the van to be good to drive, with direct, positive steering and surprising nimbleness for such a tall vehicle. On a run, even fully loaded up, I can get around 28 miles per gallon, though in town this plummets to around 24. I can easily drive the tank range of 330 miles without fatigue from the ...
...out to the newer Vivaros and Vitos, but then it's a lot bigger, and compares reasonably well to the Iveco daily which is its real competition. In my version, there are two main problems; the gearchange is very vague. Second gear almost impossible to find in the first 4-600 yards (don't know why, once the engine is warm it's no problem), and I think the driveshafts are made of cheese. I've just had one replaced at a cost of £450, and understand that ... Read review

More Va Va Voom from a Vauxhall (Renault)
Review of Vauxhall Movano Chassis Cab by 01709andy14

Advantages: nice ride and good interior build quality
Disadvantages: high repair cost and low service interviles

...commercial vehicles this cab says vauxhall in a few places and you could take it to vauxhall for service but that is where the link with vauxhall ends. Designed and built by Renualt it is French through and through. Oh no I here you say, the gearbox is going to spend more time on the bench than on the van and the doors are going to fall off. Well I can say that the 100k I have done in this {plus the 100k on the clock when I bought this vehicle} ...
...buying a vehicle with 100k on I should expect break downs, but it was a calculated risk as being only two years old these miles must have been mostly motorway miles, but my wallet is still frightend to take a ride in the vehicle. Lets do the technicle stuff. Mine is a 2800 payload with the 2.8 cc diesel engine fitted with no turbo, would have liked the turbo but beggers cant be chosers as I stole the thing {well nearly as it was a snip}. I did expect ...
