Advantages Advantages Comfort, security, responsive, sleek, road hugging, spacious, economical, great visibility, ABS brakes, power steering, alloys.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very few found over three years, mostly normal wear & tear.

I have had the pleasure of driving the Vauxhall Vectra 1.8i Club daily over three years (a total of 12,000 miles approximately). When I first jumped into the drivers seat, I immediately felt right at home. The seats were firm, nicely adjustable (drivers seat adjusts for height also). The steering wheel is adjustable (up/down only). Everything is within easy reach. The control panel, heating, air conditioning (standard on the Club), etc. all clearly marked. The three years previously, I had been driving a Vauxhall Astra. Well the Vectra didn't "feel" so different to the extent that I would have ... more

Introduction I brought my 04 plate vectra club almost 2 months ago, and have done about 3000 miles in it. i find it a very enjoyable and fun car to drive, so i'll tell you the good bits and a few niggles i have. the car itself has 120BHP and is insurance group 7. For me a 20 year old with 1 years no claims it is £845 a year, which isnt much more than what it was for me in a 1ltr corsa. For me i think the car looks stunning even before any mods are done to it but if you are thinking of modding then they is still lots you can do, however tuning the engine is limited. The Good things about this ... more

Advantages Advantages big, relatively cheap, reliable and a pleasure to drive

Disadvantages Disadvantages Finding my silver one in the car park after a rugby game is a struggle

I purchased my Vectra 1.8i club second hand a few months ago. I bought it through Network Q where I have recieved excellent service and a 1 year warranty & breakdown cover are included. To begin with I was rather dubious about buying a Vauxhall as I had learned to drive in an old Cavalier which had an atrocious gearbox and was generally useless. After a test drive though I had totally changed my mind about Vauxhalls. The gearbox is great, the driving position, seats, and visabillity are much better and it feels like you are driving a high quality car. The club comes with air conditioning, CD ... more

Advantages Advantages Boot space, Safety features, Comfort

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Engine output!

I've had my Vectra for 8 months. When looking around the garage it caught my eye as it comes with all the mod cons such as air con, CD/Radio (with steering column controls) and alloys all as standard. The manufacturer warranty was still intact so that was also grabbed my attention. Good points: - Huge boot, Loads of room, Adjustable steering column, Lumber support on drivers seat, ABS, ESP (Not sure if this was added extra!), CD/Radio, Driver/Front Passenger/Side & Curtain Airbags (Hope not to use), Comfortable ride. Bad points: - Extremely costly tyres, High servicing costs, expensive fuel ... more
