The packaging - The tube is packaged very appealingly along with a sponge which is designed with one soft side for applying the cream and one rougher side for removing the cream afterwards.
What it claims - "Veet Caressably Smooth in Shower Hair Removal cream is specially designed to effectively remove hair while you shower."
Areas of the body it is designed for - The In-Shower hair removal cream is designed for the legs, underarms and bikini line but not for the face, head, breast, perianal or genital areas.
Smell - I found the smell very nice and appealing - it isn't too strong and overpowering.
Colour & Texture - The cream is a pale, milky pink colour which looks appealing and the texture of the cream is like a smooth but thick paste and it squeezes out the tube easily.
Directions - 1. Apply Cream: Before showering, apply the cream evenly onto the skin using the soft side of sponge. Because the cream is smooth, I found the cream easy to apply, even behind the legs and difficult to reach areas.
2. Wait 1 minute before stepping into the shower. The quick 1 minute is great and the fact that the cream is semi-water resistant lets you have a shower whilst it works away at the hairs. I've tried other hair removal creams before and they normally aren't designed for the shower and take 10 minutes to work meaning sitting around in the bathroom for 10 minutes.
3. Take a shower and make sure the cream stays on for an additional 2 minutes with the maximum of 6 minutes. After 2 minutes, it worked for me already which was a surprise seeing as it is very quick.
4. Remove with sponge. I found the cream easy to remove with the sponge and within seconds, my legs were smooth and hair-free.
Results - Once I removed the cream with the sponge, almost all of the hair on my legs had gone and it left me with smooth and hair free skin. The cream also made my skin feel moisturized and refreshed. However, after a about a week, the hair began to grow back but it was fine and wasn't stubbly at all.
What I thought – I found the directions very clear to follow even for first time users and the texture and smell was very nice and made it easy to apply. Furthermore, the cream was also very effective and removed a majority of my hairs easily. I would definitely recommend this product as an alternative to shaving or waxing – it is pain free and leaves your skin oh-so soft and fresh.
