Well where to start? Im more of a razor girl, no cream has ever worked for me! Either its too tricky to use or my hair is too stubborn for it to work!! So when i saw this advertised on the tv i had to give it a go!
Costing £5.99, the cream comes in several varieties; one for normal skin, one for dry skin, and one for sensitive skin. I automatically went for the sensitive one, as quite a lot of these creams are harsh on the skin anyway. As well as the cream, you get a double sided sponge. One side is for application (and from removing cream from sensitive areas - such as the bikini area) and the other is for the hair removal. The packaging claims it can be used on the legs, under-arms and bikini area.
I decided to try it on my legs first. It says to apply thickly without rubbing it in and then to leave for up to 6 minutes, whilst you shower. So thats what i did. At first i was impressed - it smelt nice and didnt sting. But some of the cream does wash off if you aren't careful. I took my mobile phone with me to time myself (i would have kicked myself if i got it wet, but im guessing there is a 6 minute time limit for a reason and i wanted to be careful on my first application). So when time ran out i began to use the sponge in small circular motions to remove the hair. Be warned the sponge really scratches!
And did it work i hear you ask? Well yes and no. Longer hairs were removed nicely, but its useless for the little stubbly bits. The sponge left me feeling sore after the first use and, after 3 uses, the sponge started to disintergrate!
Would i recommend this product? No. Get a razor, its cheaper and more effective!
