My first dealing with this company was receiving a phone call about the vehicle I had just advertised in Auto Trader.
The first phone call will be to offer you a free "magazine" which in my case turned out to be an unaddressed faxed single page sheet.
You will then receive a follow-up call inviting you to part with £79.99 or if you really want to sell your car quickly spend £99.99 for the gold package!! The salesman / women will make some of the following statements during there pitch "We have buyers interested in your type of vehicle, and are willing to pay (insert your asking price here") "will you be available for viewings today?" Should you turn them down you will get a slightly more desperate phone call, that make use of some of the following statements "We have a buyer ready to pay £xxxx", " I'm from the (Manufactures name) department" , "The buyer needs us to finance the vehicle", "The fee is to guarantee the vehicle" They may even drop the price a little!!
I relented and parted with £79.99… Only to receive no phone calls, I have caller ID on both phones and check them every time I thought I may have been out of ear shot of the phone over the next few days, Nothing!!!
Don't, I repeat do don't part with your money. They are working through a loophole in the distance selling regulations (I found out to my peril), essentially, they can make the wildest claims they like about people interested in your vehicle, which they may or may not be, but all they ever will do is let the "buyer" (if there is one) know about your vehicle, and place your ad on a website. Because they have provided a "service" from the moment you part with your fee you're not entitled to a refund! Distance selling regulations or not!
Ok, so like me you have been done, there is hope… My advert was incorrect, (The mileage was incorrect, well it was after a few motorway stints) I then phoned them and told them the advert was incorrect, (Don't tell them what's incorrect) and therefore they hadn't provided me with a "Service" they asked to change the advert, I declined there kind offer and asked for my money back. They still refused, I wrote them a letter explaining the situation, i.e. there advert was incorrect and they had yet to provide with a service, therefore I would like my money back. They still refused, I contacted my card issuer, they sent through a "Transaction dispute form", I filled it in attached a copy of my letter, and hey presto money back.
A very pushy salesman that tried to rush me into agreement. Promised me that there were buyers ready to view my car and were willing to pay more than what i had advertised it for. When i asked for time to do some research and decide the next day i was told there was no point and we would be back at square 1, because the buyers were ready to view my car. i didn't like his tone and decided to stay clear as £89.99 is quite a lot of money for advertising. ...

...After many years of happy motoring with various Rover models, 'She who must be conveyed' and I decided a change was called for. The reason for this momentous decision was three-fold. Firstly we were downsizing, secondly leg problems dictated that automatic transmission must be considered and thirdly of course the Rover marque was now unfortunately no longer available.

...What a superb car. I bought a 320d SE about 12 months and have had nothing but sheer pleasure from driving it.
After driving a Renault Laguna for 3 years, I decided to upgrade to a premium motorway cruiser. I read up on all the usual suspect, Audi, Merceded, Lexus etc and finally decided to test drive an Audi A4 Tdi and the BMW 320d. Although the Audi was a quality vehicle, it just didn't match up to the quality and performance of the 320d.
Aswell as having top quality performance from a diesel, it also returns an average of 45m.p.g. In the SE spec you get some added refinements from the base model (which is basic for a premium German car) which include, dual climate control, cruise control and 16" alloys.
Although the price of this car is fairly high (23-24k), there are some good finance deals around and the resale values hold up...
