Venzero Mini One 2 GB

Advantages: Small, good battery life, fairly large capacity

...addition alone warrants buying the new ipod mini over the old one. The build of the new 6gb ipod mini is fantastic too. It is very small, perhaps the smallest mp3 player I have held. The body of the player is indentical to that of the old ipod mini. Impressions out of the box are good. Included in the box is the player itself, USB 2.0 cable and manuals. The criticism I would have of the player is that it does not feature a firewire cable (the wire you use to connect it to a mac, if you are using windows this is not an issue) and that it does not contain a mains power supply. Basically this means that the new 6bg ipod mini does not include a plug to charge it up! You can however charge it up using your computer (which is what it will be connected to most of the time anyway) but it is still nice to be able to charge it up anywhere. This is... Read review

...Quite opposite to the title there is much that can be said about the Nano, I personally purchased the 2GB Black Nano, yes fancy I know and yes my wallet do take a severe 120 pounds worth of punishment. A major advantage of the Nano is the portability, it can be quite easily taken anywhere, now combine this with its certain cool factor and the ipods ability to turn heads and you have a product worth buying without even taking a second glance at the specifications. Apple have came up with a real stunner this time, much more finely tuned then the old ipod mini, weighing in at only 42 grams th 2GB has the ability to store a potential of 500 songs. ...plenty of space on this ipod even though its only 4GB. I love music and have loads of songs on my ipod but have never reached the limit. I dont see the point in paying hundred more so you can have 50 thousand songs, nobody needs this many songs. As well as being a great gadget, its a fantastic colour, suitable for any girly girl. the mini ipod comes with earphones, but I would also recomend purchasing speakers. This way you can listen to music (eg at home) without using earphones. Again, I would recomend getting the cheaper speakers as these work just as well as the apple ones. As Im clumsy, I drop my ipod quite a lot, and found out it can scratch quite easily. I would definently recomend getting a pouch or cover for it. I think the best ones are the clear jelly type ones as you can still see the colour through it. However... Read review
