Advantages Great selection
Disadvantages could cost alot
I've just bought a Vespa Primavera, 1967 and I can't recoomeend it enough. But If you're looking to buy I just found a great shop for purchasing vintage Vespas and Lambrettas. Unfortunately I dont know the precise name of the shop but it is on Brick Lane in a modern complex across from where Atlantis art supplies is. Thre are signs posted all over the place saying "SCOOTERS". The staff is informative they have hundreds of parts and about 15 or 20 vintage bikes at any given time ..They also carry Lambrettas..The prices are extremely varied, statring at about £900, and there are a few bikes that are so collectible they should be in Museums, scoot on in and pick up the hottest accessory going and a fabulous and cheap option to the crowded tubes and buses.
