Advantages: MP3 playback and long battery life Disadvantages: The random function doesn't work properly
Whenever I?ve had to choose a CD player like this, for me or for a present, the first thing I look at is the battery time. This is what first led me to this player, it advertises 30+ hours of CD playback and 48 hours of mp3 playback (these are for non-stop playback, with no skipping. Using the skip a lot will reduce battery time and giving it resting time between playbacks increases battery time.) Those numbers seemed pretty amazing to me from just 2AA batteries. So I bought it....
The round shape looks great and I can?t see how a CD player could get much smaller. It feels very well built, and it takes very big bumps (unusually big) to get it to skip. The remote control is useful for whenever you are carrying it around in your pocket or a bag and don?t want to have to reach into your pocket and fumble around for the buttons ...

I BOUGHT THIS ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT IT WOULD PLAY ANY DVD MP3 ECT.,
IT PLAYS WHAT IT WANTS WHEN IT WANTS, WHICH IS A PAIN IF YOUR DOING A SHOW. THE SCREEN FLOPS DOWN AND THERE IS NO AJUSTMENT TO TIGHEN IT UP WITHOUT TAKING IT APART. ITS ALSO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS. KEEP WELL CLEAR OF THIS PRODUCT ITS RUBBISH.
I MUST SAY I BOUGHT THIS ITEM EX DEMO BUT I KNOW TWO PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT NEW AND HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. MAY I ADD ONE OF MY FRIEND SOLD HIS AND GOT LITTLE MONEY FOR IT COMPARED WITH THE PRICE HE PAYED FOR. IT. I HAVE HAD OTHER NUMARK EQUIPMENT THAT WORKS FINE BUT I THINK THIS MODEL IS THE BLACK SHEEP OF THE FAMILY ...

When i seen this player in the shop the first impression i got was Round, saucer like and easy to hold. I found it had Good sound especially with good head phones. The battery life is very strong compared to other players i have come accross. Line out for connecting to speakers. mp3 or atrac playback includes the folder system, easier to navigate through 100-200 songs on each cd. Can group songs in folders when you burn them so you dont have to hit track advance 150 times if you want to hear the 150th song. Good for old format old time radio plays. It plays the low grade mp3 kbs/s and frequences as well of course the standard new music high quality format. ...
