I used this yesterday to clean my rugs and what hard work it was. The Vetreella Steam and Vac is a heavy machine but does do its job. It can be used as a wet or dry vacuum but makes life a bit difficult as different filters need to be used depending on what you are using it for (better off just using this for washing carpets etc). There are 2 attachments for washing either a small or large triangular things so it is possible to wash carpets as well as sofas and upholstery.
