I thought I would write this review from my point of view rather than my partner (who is the one using them). I have decided to do it this way because the way I see it, I am the one who truly knows whether or not they are working! My partner has snored for as long as I have known him, and while it hasn't been a major problem in the past, for some reason it has gotten worse over the past few weeks - to the point where it is driving me mad!
I bought these breathe right strips after yet another night of barely any sleep, lying awake next to my partner. I paid £5.98 for them - which I though was a bit pricey considering what they are. But I bought them thinking £5.98 is nothing if I get a good night sleep!
Essentially all they look like is a plaster, only shaped to go over the nose. On the packaging they claim to pull open the nasal passages and encourage breathing through the nose rather than the mouth. They come in different sizes (although gives no explanation as what they would class as a large or small nose??!!). Within the packet that I bought there was ten strips - which is a bit annoying, more than one weeks worth but you run out during the second week!
So did they work?? In a word - no! The first night that my partner used them I was pleasantly surprised, although the snoring hadn't stop it seemed to be a lot lighter than usual and I was at least able to sleep throughout the night. But this did not last long, he has continued to wear them when he goes to sleep, and I am continuing to nudge him throughout the night telling him to be quiet!
However, my partner has commented that since using these he does seem to be getting a much better nights sleep (ok for some!!), and where as he used to regularly wake throughout the night, he has now been sleeping all the way through. So on this basis we would recommend the product.
But we wouldn’t recommend it for what it is actually supposed to do!! Although the wording on the packaging does only state "may help to reduce or eliminate snoring".
I have now resorted to sleeping tablets!

I'm a snorer (I know, how feminine of me!) and tried these, but I just ended up pulling them off in my sleep. Luckily, my other half thinks my snoring is cute...for now.
