Using the Vicks Sinex Nasal Pump Spray is a method of unblocking your sinuses and is an alternative to using the Vicks Sinex Nasal Spray.

The latter should only be used for approximately 3 days before a doctor should be consulted, whereas the pump can be used for up to 7 days.

The Vicks Pump spray contains the following ingredients:
0.05% w/v oxymetazoline hydrochloride. This actually relieves your blocked nose within a few seconds of using it. Other constituents are: levomenthol, sodium citratedihyrate, tyloxapol, citric acid anhydrous, eucalyptol, water and others.

The bottle comes in 10ml sizes and has approximately 200 measured doses. This size is ideal for pockets or handbags, for use during the day.
2 sprays up each nostril usually does the trick of clearing my blocked nose.

Before you use the spray, you have to "prime" the nozzle.
This you do by pressing down on the pump twice. To use this spray you place the nozzle into each nostril and press down on the top of the bottle, between the nozzle end and the glass bottle itself. Each squirt is then released and you should inhale the spray into your nose. You will find your blocked sinuses are relieved fairly quickly.

The measured dose of spray, I find, is better than using the Vicks Sinex Spray as you may be under- or over-using the latter depending on how hard you squeeze the container.

**USAGE**

Adults and children over 6 years old should spray 1 - 2 times per nostril every 6 - 8 hours, unless directed by your doctor.
Children under 6 MUST NOT use the Pump Spray.

If you suffer from the following your doctor should be contacted first:
High blood pressure, heart disorders, diabetes, liver or kidney problems, pregnancy.

**STORAGE*

Keep under 25 Centigrade.

All in all, I recommend the use of Vicks Sinex Nasal Pump Spray for clearing a blocked nose, especially before going to bed.
