I bought these for Christmas as a stocking filler for my daughter who has very long hair. I only paid £9.99 for them in the pre-Christmas Sales. The outer box was very pleasing to the eye.
The colour of them is nice being Lilac and Silver and the Barrel is quite large to create looser, larger curls. If you are looking for tighter more spirally curls, then they are probably not the right ones to use.
Once the power is turned on, they heat up very ... ...on a hard surface and have a built in stand to keep the barrel up. After use, it is recommended that you turn the switch to off and unplug from the mains. Leave to cool before putting away.
When we used the product, it created very loose curls, and it took a very long time. As I said, my daughters hair is very long and heavy, and I don't think she would manage to do this on her own. Due to the length of the hair, it took a long time for the heat ...

Advantages: Really good value for money Disadvantages: Wear out after 4-6 months
When I first got these tongs i didnt know if they were going to be any good as they were at such a low price but when i got them home and tried them out I was amazed at how good they were they curled my hair perfectly. I used them often, but not all the time as my hair is quite long and think so it took some time to curl it. But when i did use them they worked really well. I was really pleased with them as they were cheap compared to other curling ... ...didnt seem to work as well as they used to, they didnt get as hot and my hair didnt seem to curl as well as what it did. This was a shame but as they were so cheap I proberly should of exspected it. Overall these are good in the short term but if you looking for tongs that last these aren't for you. ...
