I'd been shopping round for some new hair care products as presents for my twelve year old daughter. She was very keen on GHD but they are way over-priced and the reviews I've read on their performance are mediocre.
So I got her some Toni & Guy straighteners and then came across the VidalSassoon Hair Hydration Hair Dryer. Now initially I was surprised as I thought the whole point was to dry and not hydrate the hair and I also had connotations of having to put water in the device; and we all know that electricity and water generally do not mix!
My fears were soon allayed when I discovered that the 'hydration' is achieved by the hairdryer mixing negative charged ions with the warm air stream which not only aids faster drying but also helps retain the hair's natural moisture, leaving it feeling soft and smooth and looking naturally ...

I would not recommend the VidalSassoonVS880 at all. They look fantastic but are completely useless. It is a sad indictment that an iron and ironing board can produce results that by far exceed a specialist product in a shorter space of time and with a lot less hassle. For me, these hair straighteners are by far my worst purchase of 2007 and a mistake I will not be making again. If you need a set of hair straighteners avoid this product like the plague, I know I will. I am now delighted with my replacement straighteners from Salon UK. ...
