Advantages: look quite stylish
Disadvantages: poor heat levels, vibrates, doesn't straighten hair

A change in hairstyle and a move away from the stereotypical Cypriot curly hair means that I now have to straighten my hair on a daily basis otherwise I start to look like I've been dragged through a hedgerow backwards by my head. On the recommendation of my stylist I purchased a set of Vidal Sassoon VS880 hair straighteners from the salon for £24.99 to keep my hair looking like it had just been styled. I had no reservations making the purchase as my stylist had used the same make and model when it was originally styled and having heard bad things about the unreliability of GHD hair straighteners I happily left thinking I had a bargain. Disadvantages: RATHER HEAVY AND LARGE

I'd been shopping round for some new hair care products as presents for my twelve year old daughter. She was very keen on GHD but they are way over-priced and the reviews I've read on their performance are mediocre. So I got her some Toni & Guy straighteners and then came across the Vidal Sassoon Hair Hydration Hair Dryer. Now initially I was surprised as I thought the whole point was to dry and not hydrate the hair and I also had connotations of having to put water in the device; and we all know that electricity and water generally do not mix! My fears were soon allayed when I discovered that the 'hydration' is achieved by the hairdryer mixing negative charged ions with the warm air stream which not only aids faster drying but also helps retain the hair's natural moisture, leaving it feeling soft and smooth and looking naturally ...

Vidal Sassoon VS070

Advantages: Really works, splits hair into sections for you
Disadvantages: None!

all of my hair it only takes about fie minutes. The final major advantage that I have found with these is that they have ceramic plates which mean that they dont make my hair frizz. One final point is that the effect I have had from these last three days before I need to redo my hair again (or if i wash my hair before then) so i dont have to worry about doing this every morning To sum up: ~*~ Pro's ~*~ The only ones ive found that work for me! Ceramic Plates so hair doesnt frizz Divides hair into sections for you Variable teperature setting ~*~ Con's ~*~ Heavier than some others (Although this has never really been a problem for me) ...
