...purchasing. I didn't buy my Vidal Sassoon VS536BD hairdryer because of the recommendation of a friend it was purchased because it was just so darn cheap and in the world of man, every penny saved is a penny that can be put towards a further pint of alcoholic beverage when down at that social cauldron we call the boozer.
At £19.99 I couldn't ask for more from a hairdryer, it has the ability to blast the skin from my face with force ... ...to hide it away should friends decide they want to venture into my house. Those who have seen it comment on how it nearly looks manly with its silver finish and as much as I plead that it is mine, all mine, the better half of my relationship insists that it is good enough to share. What is yours is mine and what is mine is my own eh guys?

A man who owns his own hairdryer? Yes ladies I have my own now stop laughing and embrace the age of equality and listen to my words of wisdom that will helpfully and with skill guide you through the minefield of hairdryer purchasing.
At £19.99 I couldn't ask for more from a hairdryer, it has the ability to blast the skin from my face with force in varying temperatures and looks so good I don't have to hide it away should friends decide they want to venture into my house. Those who have seen it comment on how it nearly looks manly with its silver finish and as much as I plead that it is mine, all mine, the better half of my relationship insists that it is good enough to share. What is yours is mine and what is mine is my own eh guys?
Styled in a rather thick heat resistant plastic, the grip and handle are balanced perfectly with the trigger and heat setting switch placed perfectly to allow changes whilst drying the hair rather than having to start and stop all the time. There are three main heat settings that range from first to third degree burns. I am of course being dramatic, the lowest heat setting is more of a mild summer temperature, intermediate being warm and the highest a bit of a summer scorcher that dries the hair wherever it is pointed almost immediately. My personal preference is the medium setting as it doesn't damage my hair at all and takes only a few minutes to completely dry every strand of hair ready for it to be assaulted by an array of waxes.
The trigger I mentioned earlier is to fire off a jet of cool air at any time during drying. I never use this function, have no idea what it is for but can vouch for it being very strong and cool. Noise levels are also perfectly acceptable and while it may not be totally silent it is bearable even with something of a morning after head, which is good as my girlfriends previous hairdryer sounded like a Boeing 747 taxiing down a runway.
20 quid, yes please I'll have some of that and for that price you should really have no hesitation in parting with your hard earned cash and treating yourself to a piece of quality equipment that does the job.
Advantages: Salon Quality but High Street Prices Disadvantages: A bit clumsy
...£19.99. It#s Vidal Sassoon, so it is a reputable make so I knew I could trust it.
It has a nice silver and black design, so it looks stylish with easy to use settings and a conveniently placed cold shot button.
The hair dryer comes in its own silver handy case, which will also double as my handy bag for toiletries when I go away on my holls.
The appliance features an airflow concentrator nozzle and a diffuser. The concentrator nozzle is great ... ...take a longer time to use this attachment. The diffuser works well, creating volume, lift, waves and enhances curls. It would probably work even better if my hair wasn't as long as it is now though.
It has a hang up loop, which is handy and extra length cord. The hair dryer is a bit clumsy as as all salon style hair dryers because they are quite large.
It has a cool shot button, which I am happy about as it gives your hair that nice finish.
Three ...

Advantages: it dries your hair leaving it soft and shiny Disadvantages: takes a while if youve got lots of hair
i was given this hair dryer as a gift for my birthday (so im not sure how much it cost) to replace the one i had that ha lost half of the prongs on its diffuser after years of use and being played with by my kids.
it comes in a really nice silver bag with a carry handle, directional airflow nozzle, diffuser and leaflet on how to dry your hair what the different buttons do and how to look after it.
there are 3 different heat settings of which the ... ...using the diffuser, im assuming its because it could melt? as it does tend to get rather hot.
and 2 speed settings, which of course also means the noise it creates goes up with the speed level.
the diffuser itself has prongs which are about an inch in length and are very round and smooth which unfortunately for me means that it doesnt do a lot of good for my hair as its very thick and frizzy and wavy, so not ideal really for my type of hair.
