A man who owns his own hairdryer? Yes ladies I have my own now stop laughing and embrace the age of equality and listen to my words of wisdom that will helpfully and with skill guide you through the minefield of hairdryer purchasing. I didn't buy my Vidal Sassoon VS536BD hairdryer because of the recommendation of a friend it was purchased because it was just so darn cheap and in the world of man, every penny saved is a penny that can be put towards a further pint of alcoholic beverage when down at that social cauldron we call the boozer.

At £19.99 I couldn't ask for more from a hairdryer, it has the ability to blast the skin from my face with force in varying temperatures and looks so good I don't have to hide it away should friends decide they want to venture into my house. Those who have seen it comment on how it nearly looks manly with its silver finish and as much as I plead that it is mine, all mine, the better half of my relationship insists that it is good enough to share. What is yours is mine and what is mine is my own eh guys?

Styled in a rather thick heat resistant plastic, the grip and handle are balanced perfectly with the trigger and heat setting switch placed perfectly to allow changes whilst drying the hair rather than having to start and stop all the time. There are three main heat settings that range from first to third degree burns. I am of course being dramatic, the lowest heat setting is more of a mild summer temperature, intermediate being warm and the highest a bit of a summer scorcher that dries the hair wherever it is pointed almost immediately. My personal preference is the medium setting as it doesn't damage my hair at all and takes only a few minutes to completely dry every strand of hair ready for it to be assaulted by an array of waxes.

The trigger I mentioned earlier is to fire off a jet of cool air at any time during drying. I never use this function, have no idea what it is for but can vouch for it being very strong and cool. Noise levels are also perfectly acceptable and while it may not be totally silent it is bearable even with something of a morning after head, which is good as my girlfriends previous hairdryer sounded like a Boeing 747 taxiing down a runway.

20 quid, yes please I'll have some of that and for that price you should really have no hesitation in parting with your hard earned cash and treating yourself to a piece of quality equipment that does the job.
