Fuji FinePix F70EXR - slimline super-zoom

Advantages: Features, Low-light capability
Disadvantages: A little confusing to master and a little too expensive

The Fuji FinePix F70EXR is billed by the manufacturer as the slimmest 10x zoom camera on the market and, at less than 23mm in depth, it is certainly very easy and convenient to carry around. The zoom is great for magnification, being the equivalent of 27-270mm in 35mm terms, but I found it to be a little fuzzy at the long end. There is also a 4x digital zoom for anyone who wants it. The FinePix F-series cameras are renowned for their low-light (high ISO) capabilities and the F70EXR should be no exception, sharing as it does the 1/2 inch sensor of the F200EXR but with 2 million fewer pixels crammed onto it. Also the EXR technology is great for combating noise on higher ISO shots. Obviously the F70EXR is small, compact and lightweight and, in general, feels great to hold, with all the controls being conveniently placed ? apart from ...

Modern Warfare 2

Advantages: Graphics, Sound, Campiagn, Online Multiplayer, Simple Controls
Disadvantages: Complicated Multiplayer maps

The wait is finally over and Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 has finally arrived. I was eagerly anticipating its release, so much so that I pre-ordered it the first day that it was available to do so. The original Modern Warfare and World at War are probably my 2 favourite games of all time, so would one of the most hyped up games of all time, live up to expectations ? ~~~ First Impressions ~~~ Right from the beginning I was impressed. The adverts before the actual game are again skippable, which means you're ready to start shooting in seconds. The first menu lets you go into whichever game mode you want and all in all the game looked excellent after the first minute or so. ~~~ Story ~~~ The game takes place 5 years after the original Modern Warfare. Despite your best attempts back then the Russians have ...

Premium economy ?? I think i'll pass !!

Advantages: Nice little extras, Good food, Free drinks
Disadvantages: Not value for money, tiny seats & stingy cabin crew

big things as I knew it was only a cheap price but I started to think that maybe I had wasted our money. From what I could grasp we would be getting *An extra 5 inches legroom economy being 30inches & premium being 35 inches *One hour check in as apposed to the economy, which is at least 2 hours before *Priority boarding (so in other words we had to sit on the plane the longest!) *Wider seats *Footrest *Travel pack *Seat back video system (if not available free hand held DVD) *Specially designed menu & selection of meals *Complimentary drinks It may look a lot written down in a list but I knew for a fact it wouldn't be a lot when we got on board. I also found out that if you wanted to guarantee to sit together you would have to pay a further £10pp which I thought was daylight robbery what a cheek we have just paid an extra ...
