Taxan Monitor - The Death Star Monitor

Advantages: Robust and Solid
Disadvantages: Heavy

Taxan Ergovision Monitor 735 TCO99 Introduction The oldest looking piece of kit I use at work is this monitor. Taxan is part of a Japanese electronic company who have been around since 1981 and have been a leading producer of monitors. This CRT (cathode ray tube) monitor works by basically firing electron beams through a vacuum at a screen to produce a picture. This picture is what we see when we look at a monitor. Specs The monitor I currently use has: ? 17? display ? 1280 x 1204 resolution ? Mini two port USB hub attached to Base ? Manoverable Base ? Weighs 20Kg Personal Experience This monitor is a bit old school for me, it weighs as much as a death star if your trying to move it and nearly takes up as much room as one to. The display itself is still in good condition considering its age ...

99p red balloons go buy

Advantages: Everything is 99p
Disadvantages: The long queues

due to huge drop in profits; in some cases up to 70% of turn-over had gone to 99p Stores Ltd. Poundland missed a trick (Magic Set 99p) Incredibly 99p Stores made a pre-tax loss of £1.14 million in the year 2007, there business model was in-place and secure. Since , the economic down-turn the fortunes changed for them and as consumers looked more wisely for bargains because of the current financial crisis. 99p Stores now boast they get Lawyers, Merchant Bankers and Surgeons frequently doing a binge on sugar products (The Apprentice 2007 book 99p).Well, everyone is in the firing line these days. The downside is the change you get, let me re-phrase, the change I get. I get it in 1 pence coins, I wondered if it is a company policy, but alas it is not. It?s just the way the cookie crumbles; (Cookie Mixture 99p) The whole saving of 1p is ...

Premium economy ?? I think i'll pass !!

Advantages: Nice little extras, Good food, Free drinks
Disadvantages: Not value for money, tiny seats & stingy cabin crew

This time last year I was booking my holiday to the Dominican Republic with my boyfriend & of course I do all the booking & he shows very little interest until he gets his tickets. At the time of booking both our tickets came to just less than £1000 so I decided we would go for a bit of an extra as it was a special trip our first holiday alone together & we wanted some thing to remember so I opted for the premium economy seats at the price of £195pp not telling my boyfriend I just gave him the final figures to pay. I booked through Portland direct online & thought little of it. About a month later I thought I would go on to the Thomson website (as Portland is an umbrella company of Thomson & they have their own everything!) & see what we would actually be getting for our money & to be honest I was a little disappointed. I didn't expect ...
