As my father always says, see before you buy it. I now realise what he was trying to say. Since i got my computer assembled i didn't really know the quality of each part.

Anyway, the ViewSonic E70f, is only available in white. In today's tme, people prefer black and so do i. Less cleaning you see. It's huge, and heavy. So when you wanna change location of your computer be sure that you have 2 people to help you when you pick up the monitor. And as it is huge and heavy it takes up space. Remember that when u are selecting a place for the monitor you have enough placce to accomodate the unit.

It has a switch on button and 4 menu buttons. Also it has a embossment of 3 birds on the top left which makes the monitor quite attracive. All the menu controls of the monitor are controlled by this set of 4 buttons.
You can the Zoom, Vertical and horizontal position, tilt, brightness, contrast and even select from a set of 4 user options for the kind of display for you screen.

For the first year this monitor performs quite well, but later it cann't take high resolutions or High performance AGP cards. The screen just switches off.

The monitor has a built in filter for radition reduction. This can be seen when the monitor is off; any thing white or sliver will look purple. The monitor comes with 2 cords and the one connecting to the mains has a very funny kind of plug. So im not sure if it will suit all the sockets round the world.

The monitor has 2 status LED lights in one. When ready the light is 'green' and on stand by or off the color changes to 'orange'. when the computer is on, if you just switch off the monitor from the on/off switch it won't switch on again even after the green light glows. You will have to reboot your PC all over again, and if you are not pc oriented enough then u will have error checks every time this happens.

What more can i say, im sure that there are other monitors giving you better value for your money. Till then take care...
