ViewSonic is proud to introduce the GS815, it's first short depth space saving monitor in the 21" (various viewable) category. With a footprint slightly larger than a conventional 17" (various viewable) CRT, this 21" (20.0" viewable) monitor features a super fine 0.21mm horizontal (0.25mm diagonal) dot pitch, a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1440, and a wide video input bandwidth of 300Mhz. In addition, the GS815 utilizes the SuperClear screen technology to deliver high brightness and vivid colors. It also incorporates a new base to allow easy integration of an optional ViewSonic USB (Universal Serial Bus) hub for convenient USB peripheral connections. Space saving short depth design minimizes monitor footprint and maximizes desktop space, comfort and productivity. SuperClear screen technology incorporates an enhanced phosphor treatment and optimized glass to deliver "power color" images that are up to 30% brighter than conventional CRT monitors with up to 10% improved color fidelity. This provides vivid, realistic color and optimized clarity. This monitor complies with the world's strictest standards for low radiation, safety ergonomics, recycling and power management while saving costs through automatic power saving modes.
Advantages: HD, Widescreen, High Resolution, many features & security Disadvantages: NONE TO DATE.
... ViewSonic VX1940w 19" LCD HD Widescreen
Purchased this monitor from PC World, it cost me £150, which was a bargain indeed, its super powerful performance and video response of 2ms, puts it top of the chain, with many added features such as 1680 x 1050 HD Resolution and 3000:1 dynamic contrast ration.
The monitor itself is a slim stylish bezel design without taking up valuable desk space... The high neck and floating head design accentuate the visual experience, although you can also but a wall of desk ark to completely remove the monitor from the desk fact. The design gets a 10/10.
Another bonus to this monitor is that it is Windows Vista Verified, and has many security features such as, the Kensington Security port, which deters theft, and prevents your settings from been altered, very useful, if you have a family...

Advantages: Quality 19" Monitor which is Bright, Sharp with Colourful images, 2ms Response Time Disadvantages: A bit more expenisve than your average monitor, but worth it!
...Took me a while to decide to take the plunge from my beloved 17" Dell CRT, Which through the 3 years, besides its huge rear-end never warranted a reason to be replaced. But me being a gadget freak and my friends wondering why I still used a CRT decided now is the time.
I again before buying anything researched thoroughly on the internet to be sure I'm spending my money wisely and compared to my friends had the best TFT available within a reasonable price bracket. TFT's have come along way since I last remembered and are competing with CRTs with performance and cost.
I first found the ViewSonic vx924 (not the vx922 which this model is) and was blown away when I saw it in the show room, looked a remarkable product of great quality and performance, even the guy at the showroom said he owned this model and its never let him down...

...This is my review for the ViewSonic VA703b. I have been using this monitor now for close to 2 years and I have no problems with it.
Instead of just being compatible with VGA it also works with the new(ish) DVI at the same time.
It is an alright 17". This is OK if you want it for office work but if you want it for games, videos and pictures it is good but you would be better off with a 19" or bigger. I do play games on it and it still works quite well. What is more important to games is the reaction time.
It has really good reaction time and this is the reason why I got it. At a very low 8ms (mili seconds) it just gives a clear image every time.
I delighted to find out that it is compatible with vista.
It has 1280x1024 native resolution that delivers incredible image detail for sharp text and graphics.
It has a high...
