View Sonic VX1940w 19" LCD HD Widescreen
Review of ViewSonic VA2216w by  Martyn79

Advantages: HD, Widescreen, High Resolution, many features & security
Disadvantages: NONE TO DATE.

... View Sonic VX1940w 19" LCD HD Widescreen Purchased this monitor from PC World, it cost me £150, which was a bargain indeed, its super powerful performance and video response of 2ms, puts it top of the chain, with many added features such as 1680 x 1050 HD Resolution and 3000:1 dynamic contrast ration. The monitor itself is a slim stylish bezel design without taking up valuable desk space... The high neck and floating head design accentuate the visual experience, although you can also but a wall of desk ark to completely remove the monitor from the desk fact. The design gets a 10/10. Another bonus to this monitor is that it is Windows Vista Verified, and has many security features such as, the Kensington Security port, which deters theft, and prevents your settings from been altered, very useful, if you have a family... ViewSonic VX922 Xtreme Gaming
Review of ViewSonic VX922 by  someboyathome

Advantages: Quality 19" Monitor which is Bright, Sharp with Colourful images, 2ms Response Time
Disadvantages: A bit more expenisve than your average monitor, but worth it!

.... The only major difference I could find with the Vx924 is 3-4ms (each site changes there mind), which the vx922 is 2ms and considerably newer. Researching Online, looking at many sites like my good old favourite Toms Hardware, this was very highly recommended behind another ViewSonic monitor which I could no longer find on sale. After reading countless reviews, I put my money where my mouth is and bought the monitor from Novatech which is local to me and cost me around £285 no p+p needed. So far after having this product for 3 weeks It has been a great purchase, with the games I have tested such as Half Life 2, Age Of Empires 3, Doom 3, Unreal Tournament, Final Fantasy XI It has performed just as good as a standard CRT. I have the resolution set to the maximum 1280x1024 via the DVI input which also includes VGA and the cables to connect to... Read review

ViewSonic VA703b
Review of ViewSonic VA703b by  stuart_wright1

Advantages: 8ms Reactions
Disadvantages: Nothing

...This is my review for the View Sonic VA703b. I have been using this monitor now for close to 2 years and I have no problems with it. Instead of just being compatible with VGA it also works with the new(ish) DVI at the same time. It is an alright 17". This is OK if you want it for office work but if you want it for games, videos and pictures it is good but you would be better off with a 19" or bigger. I do play games on it and it still works quite well. What is more important to games is the reaction time. It has really good reaction time and this is the reason why I got it. At a very low 8ms (mili seconds) it just gives a clear image every time. I delighted to find out that it is compatible with vista. It has 1280x1024 native resolution that delivers incredible image detail for sharp text and graphics. It has a high... Read review
