Advantages: Durable and Well built. Nice Design. Disadvantages: Doesn't have any Swiss Army Knife accessories
...This is a USBflashdrive produced by Victorinox, makers of the Swiss Army knife. The design is basically a USB Swiss Army knife without the knife and accessories. The outer case is made of durable aluminium rather than the more traditional red plastic. The design is nice and much better than a lot of other flashdrives, however I think i prefer the more iconic red plastic version.
The USB stick is clear plastic allowing you to see the circuit board inside, while the USB plug is gold coloured. The stick flips out of the case when in use and is held in place by a clip at the keyring end when being carried. A small green LED on the circuit board indicates activity when plugged into a USB port.
The drive is USB2.0 compatible and I have used it on both PC and Apple Macs with no problems. The manufacturers claim that it will work...

Advantages: Cute looking! Disadvantages: More expensive than some others
...'s about the size of a woman's thumb. It can easily be hung on a keyring without feeling too bulky.
It doesn't require any software and will just plug straight into any computer and work; you just drag and drop files straight onto it. It has a convenient little light on the side to let you know when it is connected and 'busy'. It does seem to be fairly fast and is compliant with USB2.0 ports as well as the older, slower ones.
The 512MB is a decent size for carrying documents, several hundred photographs or a few music files. I think for most people's general purposes it provides more than enough space.
I have to say this is the nicest looking flashdrive I have come across; it is really fun but it still does the job perfectly. It is slightly more expensive than others of the same capacity, mine cost around £8 on Amazon, but I think...

Advantages: A portable drive that does the job Disadvantages: It's very small - don't lose it!
...The belkin USBflashdrive is very useful for storing information and transferring it from one computer to another.
It saves and backs-up documents, presentations, music, videos and photographs. I have found it to be very quick and easy to use, although I have only used it for text documents so far. It's basically a replacement for the old floppy disc but it's smaller, more modern and can do more. Just plug it into any USB port on your computer, it will be detected it as a removable disk drive and away you go!
It is available in 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, and 512MB versions. I have the 64mb version which is currently available at shop4usb.com for only 8.99, (damn! I paid quite a bit more at Argos).
If you're on Windows XP, 2000 or ME you can just plug in and use immediately. For Windows 98 and 98 SE, drivers are included in the neatly...
