I purchased a mondeo in June of this year and part exchanged an Audi A4, Virgin set up finance for me and also agreed to clear my outstanding finance which had negative equity. Took less than a week for all the paperwork to be done and finance in place. The website said up to 3 weeks delivery, 3 weeks passed no communication at all, I phoned Virgin to be told "there was a delay, the car was on order and would be delivered soon". I got the paperwork ... ...number, carried out my own HPi check for peace of mind at £39.95.
I carried on pestering Virgin every week until on the 1st August I got a phone call to say the car would be ready for collection in 2 days time a total of 6 weeks delivery twice that advertised, but the collection centre gave me a different reg number to the one virgin had given to the finance company. The car spec was identical.

This proved well founded as the 29th january came and went without any call from virgin to inform us our car was not available.
Once again we rang the dreaded 0870 number (around 7p per minute - average call length (including a usual of 15 minutes ... ...conclusion that the phone delay is another money spinning exercise which if you multiply that with the average 1500 customers per month to which virgin claim they supply cars and an estimated 10 calls on average per customer ( when let down or mis-informed by them) gives a grand monthly revenue generated of around £26,625!!!!!
Anyway, back to the missing car! when we rang to find out what was happening and where our car was, we were told that we ...

Advantages: Cheap Price Disadvantages: Attrocius Customer Service and long delays
After searching the net for a cheap car I was impressed by the range of vehicles offered by Virgin Cars and the prices that they were offering.
I decided to place an order and ordered a 53 plate Fiat Stilo 1.2 with air con for about £6000. I called an got an initial quote and details of the finance package available which was very tempting and was told that the car would be mine in seven days. I confirmed the order and was told that the paperwork ... ...the paperwork which, as it hadn't arrived for a couple of days I chased with the customer services team. They advised that they were waiting on a response from their finance vendor and that I would be called back when everything was sorted.
I waited another couple of days and had still not heard anything. I called the customer services team and was given the same reason as the first time - they were still waiting for their finance vendors.
