WILL WE EVER GET OUR CAR!!!
Advantages ABSOLUTELY NONE
Disadvantages CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED
First ordered car at end of january 2005, paid deposit and waited until the estimated 6-8weeks were up. Phoned to enquire and got no real answer as to when we could get our car. Eventually told there was a delay in production and they had no date at that time. No contact from them at any time and no answers when we contacted them until we mentioned we needed car before 3rd June as we were going on holiday then. Got a phone call to say we definately wouldn't have car by then. Decided to change the order to a car they had in stock and available in 7 days!!! Phoned to make payment after receiving paperwork on the 6th May and have had no contact from them since. We phoned to ask when we could collect the car and were told they had lost the paperwork and we would have to wait 2days for new ones from DVLA. Next phone call (from us) we were told 2 weeks. As our holiday is fast approaching we are getting I think understandably worried and yet each time we try to get answers from them we get no where. In one day I had to phone 5 times asking for a return phone call and despite four times being told I would get a call in 10mins I was still waiting 4hours later and at that point I was told I didn't need to speak to anyone as the original paperwork had been found and I would get a call the next day. AN ABSOLUTE LOAD OF LIES AS I HAVE NOT HAD THE PHONE CALL YET! I took legal advice and e-mailed them to say if we did not have our car by tomorrow they were in breach of contract. Got an e-mail not refering to mine but saying car was now ready for collection at the weekend and I would get a call the next day. STILL WAITING! Tried for hours to get through to the number I was given in the e-mail only to get a recorded message saying to hold for an advisor. STILL NOT GOT THROUGH! Tried phoning Virgin Cars themselves explaining I could not get through and could I speak to a manager. Told no-one was there to speak to me and that my car had not in fact been taxed at all and there was nothing they could do until Tuesday.
To be continued.....
My advice would be - DO NOT DEAL WITH VIRGIN CARS

hi! totally agree with your comments...take a look at my other review under virgincars.com 'finally got it' on this site for an update on my original ....there are some useful phone numbers and information that helped us get some positive action....it may be of help..good luck.
I am afraid that I too suffered a similar tale of woe. I ordered a Saab from Virigin. The car did not exist. They kept my deposit for ages. If you think about it all they have to do is keep deposits in Virigin bank accounts and they never need to sell a car. In the end I went down to their Barnsley head office in person to demand my money back immediately. I got it but only by threatening not to leave till I did
