I ordered a 1 year old Ford Fiesta Zetec from the Salford Branch. I was told this car was ex stock, and I would be able to collect it in about 1 week.
It actually took 8 weeks, over thirty phone calls, and two further visits to get my car.
I was constantly told "its nearly sorted". I was told the registrations of two different cars. Both times these were "on there way". In the end I got a completely different car altogether.
The car which was finally delivered didn't have the air conditioning I'd asked for. They said there had been an error made on one of their forms, and although I'd paid for a car with Air Con, they hadn't actually ordered me one with it.
By this time I just didnt care anymore, I took the car and they said they would sort out a cheque for the difference, it would be about a week.
Two weeks later, no cheque, ring up, "the customer services manager has now left the company, but yes you are due a cheque, but its not been issued yet.
Another week later," we've had a bit of a paperwork problem, and we can't be sure we've issued a cheque, we'll sort you another one".
The cheque eventually arrived four weeks after the car, twelve weeks after my order.
I think motor solutions should be ashamed to use the Virgin branding, and the Virgin group should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen at a company they lend their branding too.
