We moved to our home in February of this year and I immediately called Virgin Media to book an installation date. My father had been with Telewest who was taken over by Virgin Media. The service he received was always very reliable so I looked no further and decided to stick with the same one.
My installation date was on 8th March 2007, so I had to wait a month before they could install everything. I couldn't wait for the date to come around as I was lost without my computer and the internet. At last the 8th March came and someone came from Virgin Media to install the service. The guy was very pleasant and it tok about an hour for him to complete the installation; although he teold me he had been outside for over an hour and a half sorting out the box and the cable that leads to this house.

I had chosen A bundle consisting of:
Telephone Line Rental £11.00
Talk Unlimited £14.00
TV Size L £11.50
Broadband Size M £18.00
Minus £10.50 because it is a bundle
Makes a total of £44.00
This is for a month's service.

I was pleased with my service but it no last long. I lost my broadband service after two weeks and it was off for a whole month. I had 3 engineers out to correct the problem but they kept telling me it was the outside cable but never put the job in to complete it. So the engineer was called out again and again to rectify the problem. After the broadband was fixed I lost my telephone line (it was on and off) and myTV service. This went on for another month. I was mad so I complained to Virgin Media about the way I was being treated.

I was quite surprised when I received a letter saying I was to receive a months free service (except phone calls other than landline) as well as not being charged for the tim I had no service.

Therefore overall I have to say that I am very satisfied with my Vrigin Media Service and would reccommend them to anyone.
