Foundation colours cater for light to medium skin tones. I think personally, providing a larger scale of skin colours to suit would be more benefical, not only for their customers but also for the company.
It is such a great foundation and I would like to see a wider range to suit ALL skin.

Packaging

Foundation comes in a very pretty, shiny blue compact container. The compact has two openings - the top half opens to display the foundation, with a mirror on the inside lid.
The bottom opening contains a separate area for the circle sponge which is provided inside.
The foundation compact comes inside a lovely blue box. Almost too pretty to throw away.

Application

Sweep sponge over compace foundation and apply.
Sweep from inside of face to outside.
This is such an easy foundation to use. With one sweep of sponge it is done!
No streaks or unsightly lines left. Unbelieveably easy. No shine or even sign of foundation as it gives such a natural finish!

Result

It IS flawless. Such an even finish. This is your concealer, foundation and finish powder all in one!
I didn't even need to use alot of foundation either. It completely covers blemishes, helps to hide spots.
I would certainly recommend that if buying the product, ensure you test first at a party or local store to find your shade. To test this, apply to chin. If you cannot see foundation (as daft as this sounds) it is your correct colour shade.
When using this foundation it does not look as though I have any foundation on! It is so light, even and gives a great matt coverage.

It does do everything it states on the box. I am really hapy with this product.

The only one thing that I would say with this foundation though, is if you have dry skin, it will not apply as easy. Dry patches will show on rough skin.
To help avoid this, cleanse, tone and moisturise on a daily basis and before applying. Starting on a clean base will give a much better result.

If applying after cleanse, tone and moisturing. Allow skin a few minutes before applying the foundation. I have tried rushing this process before, only to find a slight 'caking' effect to develop.

Durability

So does it last? Yes, it does. This lasts over 12 hours with same fantastic finish. I have never needed to apply my foundation again throughout the day. If wanting to re-apply, I have tested later on during the day. One Step Face Base blends so effortly. Applying straight over orignal foundation, there was no sign of extra foundation. No lines. Just straight on for a still fresh finish.
The foundation overall has lasted me 5 months before having to buy a refil.

If needing a new One Step Face Base Sponge, cost is £3.25
However, these sponges seem fairly durable but you can buy a new sponge if you do somehow manage to wear it out! :)

Would I recommend?

Without any hesitation I would recommend this foundation to anyone!
Its an all in one, very quick and easy to use foundation which professional results!
I love how quickly I can do my make-up! And the finish is amazing!
Price + Durability + Finish = A definate must have!

This is one of Virgin Vie's 'Best Seller' products. It's no suprise that 1 is sold every 2 minutes!!!

The other products you'd have to buy with any other normal foundation to achieve this quality of finish, would be alot more costly on both wallet and time, as this product is so quick to use and great value.

Quality - 5/5 = Excellent! Fast and easy professional finish
Coverage - 5/5 = Flawless. One product. Great matt, even coverage
Finish - 5/5 = No streaks, lines. Seemless, light, flawless!
Durability - 5/5 = Lasts all day and night, no need to reapply.
Application-5/5 = Extremely easy to put on, no need to blend, in one sweep its done
Staining - 5/5 = Does not rub off on clothes or leave marks
Suitability - 4/5 = Suits a great deal of skin types. However, not as good on dry skin
Range - 2/5 = Doesn't really cater for dark skin :(
Removal - 5/5 = Comes off easily with make-up remover
Cost - 4/5 = Seems pricey, however considering time frame, it is good
Time - 5/5 = This lasted me 5 months!
Packing - 5/5 = Packaging is beautiful, femine and practical. Size of compact is not too big, easy to carry around.

Okay! So it's fair to say I am fond of this product. It IS a great foundation in comparrison to other brands. Excellent quality, good value for time frame this will last and quality of results given.
If you haven't already tried this product - I strongly recommend it! I can honestly say it's the best foundation I have used.
