Virgin Vie Perfectly Polished

My lovely lovely friend bought me a hamper of Virgin Vie products for Christmas a couple of years ago and one of the items in it was a bottle of their nail varnish in a shade called Bouquet, which is a lovely dusky rose pink colour. I don't seem to be able to find anywhere online other than a certain auction site, where you can pick up a bottle for around £2.50 plus delivery but, as this was a gift, I don't know how much my friend paid for it at the time. The product I'm reviewing is the "Virgin Vie perfectly polished nail colour" I purchased this in the shade "Red hot chilli" Normally, I would purchase "Rimmel 60 second nail varnish" as I'm so impatient and I do everything last minute so before a night out I'd do my nails only seconds before the taxi was going to arrive but after buying this product I've started doing my nails at the beginning of the day, due to the fact the varnish leaves a gorgeous glossy finish and leaves my nails feeling so smooth that it's no longer to put nail varnish on, but more of a treat! To start with I cannot recall for the life of me how I happen to have this nail polish in my possession, but I have had it now for approximately 6 years (evidently it gets little use). The Lilac Illusion polish is a beautiful pearlescent varnish which comes in a 12ml almond shaped clear glass bottle. It has a black lid which looks a little likes a chess piece and this unscrews to reveal a relatively short applicator and brush dipped in colour. It is not however lilac in colour. Lilac to me invokes an image of pale purples, whilst this polish is much pinker with a purple undertone. The bottle ... more
