This review is based on a 7" version of the Visuo Digital Photo Picture Frame by Digitel Technology Ltd

I'd been looking for a digital photo frame for quite a while but as it was coming up to Christmas my partner said we couldn't afford one and couldn't see the point in them.

When I opened my presents on Christmas day much to my surprise he'd bought me a 7" digital photo frame!! I was very pleased.

The Visio frame like lots on the market is very clear to see, has an infrared remote and is powered by a DC adapter.

The size of the screen is just about right, any bigger and it would look like a PC monitor, it's just right to have sat on the drawers in the bedroom playing my favourite pictures, although the screen is a TFT the viewing angle is very good.

One of the brilliant features is has is the ability to play music in the background while you are watching the pictures, it also has the ability to play videos as well, I've got a few music video's on mine, lots of pictures of my favourite car (as you might have seen in an earlier review!!) and some videos of the dogs.

Fortunately my partner also purchased a 1gb SD card at the same time so I could enjoy the frame straight away and has plenty of space for pictures and videos.

According to the box it takes the following memory cards:

SD (Secure Digital)
MMC Multi-media card)
Comapct Flash
Memory stick/Duo
Memory stick Pro/Pro Duo
USB Flash Drives

It also has 16mb of memory built in which could be handy if you didn't get a memory card with it.

The particular frame I've got is black but it is available in a variety of colours, although I'm glad I've got black because it's very stylish in our room.

On the back of the frame is a single leg to enable you to stand it like a normal frame but it does also have holes so you can wall mount it.

The remote that comes with the frame seems to reach quite far and has all the major controls on it enabling you to change settings, flick through pictures etc.

The frame doesn't have any sort of battery in it so you have to always have it plugged in the mains, I don't really see this as a problem because the frame is never moved.

Connectivity is very good with a PC as it comes with a USB cable and shows up as another drive enabling you to drag and drop photos, videos and MP3's.

All in all I think this is an excellent frame that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a well priced digital photo frame, I'm very pleased with mine!
