LIPOBIND FAT BINDER PILLS
Review of Goldshield LIPObind Clinically Proven Fat Binder by salvadali

Advantages: No food cravings , steady weight loss
Disadvantages: May bung you up if you take too many

Firstly just let me say that I'm not grossly overweight and before buying these tablets just needed to lose around 1 to 1.5 stone so was looking around for something which would help without being too much of a health risk , if any at all. I bought one pack of these ( 30 tablets ) just to see if they actually had any effect a there are plenty of dubious claims out there on various diet related products. My own opinions follow and the product may ...
...1 -2 pills after a meal or 3 - 4 if a very fatty meal. My immediate thought was then to think " take 4 after every meal it will work better ". Do not make this same mistake. Yes I did lose a few pounds the first week , but toilet visits were only every 2 -3 days and I felt really bloated and basically clogged up. I then ran out of pills and my system returned to normal before my next packet arrived. This time I decided 1 after breakfast , 2 at lunch ... Read review

THE HEALTHY WINE GUM?
Review of Bassett's Soft and Chewy Blackcurrant Multivitamins by SweetTooth93

Advantages: Provides you with almost everything you need, tastes like a sweetie, cheap in some places
Disadvantages: Some places rip you off, excessive consumption

...don't think there is anything Bassett's could have done too improve the appearence. Cost and availability Like I mentioned previously, we were given these tablets on prescription are they are neccessary for me, however, normally doctors will not provide these when prescribing you with Multi Vitamins. The vitamins are available at most chemists, such as Lloyds, however price will vary quite a bit from place too place. For example, in Asda, ...
...they cost from between £2.29 and £2.79. This means that each multivitamin works out at roughly 10p at the most, so in my opinion they are quite expensive however compared to the awful taste of other vitamin you get on the shelves, these are definitley worth the money. Appearence and Taste The vitamins come in two, plastic trays inside, with a foil seal on top. Much like every other pill case you get now a days, you simply push in the foil ... Read review

PMS Killer
Review of Higher Nature Mexican Wild Yam by angehodgson

Advantages: The best PMS Killer I have ever come aross
Disadvantages: It's a bit niffy for a while

Higher Nature do two Mexican Yam products: the capsules and the cream. Believe it or not, the cream is generally considered the better product for most people to use. I'm not exactly fond of the term 'bioavailability', but in a comparison between capsules and cream for this particular product, It's one I have to use, as the diosgenins from the yam are absorbed better via the skin than via the digestive system. From my own experience, I'd say the ...
...and as I'm in my late 30s, you can guess I've tried more than a few in my time. The effects are almost immediate (believe me, it calms me down within minutes - even before the smell of the cream has dissipated!) and last for hours. As for the practical bits, it comes in a practical pump pack to dispense a fairly accurate dose each time (although it's not translucent, so you have to go by weight to judge how full the pack still is). Depending on ... Read review

Omega 3 Fish Oil is a great way to keep your joints flexible and healthy no matter what age you are. BioCare Calcium Plus - very poor product
Review of BioCare Calcium Plus - With Magnesium And Vitamins A D And K by MaccMum

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: doesn't mix well in liquid, no refunds given

I bought a tub of Biocare Calcuim Plus directly from BioCare. It was expensive, but I don't mind that if I'm getting a good quality product. Unfortunately 'good' and 'quality' are not words I'd associate with this product. The instructions on the packet are to mix 1 teaspoon with some liquid. Sounds simple enough, but the trouble is, no matter how hard I tried, the grainy powder would not mix in properly, it became a soggy grainy mess and sank to ...
...to note is that although BioCare recommend 1 heaped teaspoon per day, this only provides 200mg of calcium. Now, calcium requirements vary according to age and gender. My 9 year old son for example would need about 1300mg, a younger child might only need 800mg, but either way, if you are relying on this supplement alone for calcium, you would need between 4 and 6 teaspoons per day. I contacted BioCare for advise, but even they admitted that "As we ... Read review
