Advantages: Fast broadband. Usually very good support. Outages rare.
Disadvantages: Occasionally things are less than clear, with the odd support/outage glitch.

Vivaciti provides very fast download speeds. The support is generally very responsive to calls, both in terms of being well-informed and getting back quickly to the caller. The only exception to this was the occasion of an outage (the only outage in the couple of months I have used them), which lasted an evening and when I couldn't get through to the service desk. I use the cheapest product (3 Gigabytes peak time usage per month; 30 Gigabytes off ...

Generally, I'd say don't look for the very cheapest on offer; go for quality if it's not too expensive. Vivaciti fits the bill. I started with Plusnet who were very shabby.
