I purchased the similar SR33E which seems to have been sold only By Currys, and since purchase have never been able to use it as the battery drains within 1-2 weeks.
I returned it to the store and it was sent off for repair but came back with exactly the same fault. I took it back to the store again and was told that "as it has already been repaired, perhaps the company will not accept it for repair again, and despite Currys customer service saying I was entitled to have it written off as it was still faulty after 28 days, the store refused, and further complints to Currys head office have been totally ignored. with Sennheisser headphones but after listening to these for the first time, I was blown away by the sound reproduced. The Senns were quality headphones but lacked the openness and clarity and the tight bass of the Grados.

Weaknesses:

Advantages: comfortable design Disadvantages: not the best quality ever
Vivanco may not be the most well known name in Hifi but these headphones are quite popular, I've seen them used on the music terminals in shops like HMV. They mainly designed for use with mini systems which is exatly what I have used mine for.
Personally I think the sound quality is of fairly good quality and only starts to suffer when turned up really loud. The closed design gives them good bass but does stop them from such an open natural sound as some of the more expensive Senheiser headphones. For long periods these headphones are very comfortable and the only problem I have is that my ears start to get too hot after a while.
For the price they are good value so I would deffinately reccommend them. ...
