This camera is perfect for the amateur photographer, you get fairly decent quality pictures for a fairly decent price, i think i have seen this camera on sale in Tescos recently for less than £50 which is very reasonable. The quality is perfect for taking pictures on holiday and the price is such that you wont be too upset if you drop it or it gets stolen. The picture quality is 2 megapixels which is very adequate however because the built in memory in the camera is only 8Mb on this quality you can only store 9 pictures, there is the cpability to change the size of the photos which means they are taken at 0.3 megapixels which i have been doing until i get a memory card and the pictures are of ok quality but nothing to shout about and you get a more generous 57 pictures on the built in memory. If you plan to use this camera on a holiday you are going to want to take various good quality pictures so if you buy this camera i suggest that you invest in a memory card which can be brought very cheaply now days. There is also the ability to take videos on the camera which can be taken up to the length of free space you have in your memory, there is no sound on the videos so its not really practical to use as a video camera too, just if you need to take short video clips for whatever your reason may be. The cameras menua system is easy to use and navigate as long as your fingers arent too big as the buttons are quite small. and there is also a viewing screen which means you can see what pictures you have just taken. There is an automatic flash which can be turnt off at your request and also there is a timer if you want to cleverly take a picture with everyone in it (ahh modern technology). It is not very heavy so it is not a problem there and i feel that it is fairly durable, i wouldn't like to say how long you can mistreat it before it breaks because i want mine in working order however i have dropped mine on solid floors a few times and there are no signs of any scratches or marks that i can see. There is no need to install any software with this camera as it is automatically recognised by windows XP however is you have an older version of windows there is a driver disk supplied when you buy the camera. You cannot use this camera as a webcam which i feel is a common feature with cameras now. I think this is the downfall with this camera, the features, there are not many to boast about but that said i think if your looking for a cheap good quality camera then you have found what your looking for, i dont think you will be dissapointed, give it a go.
Looks a decent camera for the price and I agree with Chris's comment below about the paragraphs - it would make for easier reading with spacing between . Pat.t x
