Bought this camera for less than £150.00, which for a digital camera with a 3x optical zoom is the best value for money I've found so far, and I've been looking for a long time as the last camera I had(not a vivitar), was a great disappointment -(all 5 of the replacements too!!!). It takes excellent photos, and is extremely easy to use once you've gone through the instruction manual. Can't find anything bad to say about it. It doesn't come with a memory card like a lot of the cameras seem to, but it does have an 8mb internal memory, so its not really a problem to start with. It doesn't eat batteries like my previous digital, still using the same ones after a week of almost constant use.
Sorry..didn't realise I got rated for my opinion. Just wanted to say to all those novices like me out there that this is an excellent camera!!! Yes it does have an LCD screen which I always use. Sorry but I can't get more technical than this, as I said I am a complete novice.

Does it have an LCD screen? If not, then that will be why it doesn't eat the batteries! Sounds like a good price:) -Jon

Good first op, but you need to go into more detail to get a better rating. Cat x
