(+) Ultra-compact dimensions, fun automatic tools, good performance for the asking price (-) Cluttered menu layout, camera buttons are scarce, specs are almost identical to the Samsung ES15
Advantages: Small and compact. Disadvantages: Takes a while.

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: EATS batteries, poor quality
I completely agree with the reviewer above! If this camera was a person I'd probably have to murder it. I did not have the problem with the flash but the camera takes about five seconds before it even realises you have pressed the shutter button and then another five to take the picture to save it. By this time the batteries have almost run out and if you want to go for a day out to take pictures, like the zoo; you will have to take about four or ... ...out cheaply as it takes three AAA batteries. Also, although it wasn't expensive, it is a 3megapixel camera which was not worth its money, any detail you wanted specifically to see is blurred or not definable. I may as well have gone to Mcdonalds and bought a happy meal toy for £60 less, it would probably have been able to take better photos! However after all this, it was very easy to use and had a reasonable amount of settings and could take different ...

Advantages: none Disadvantages: photo quality is poor
I wanted to buy a cheap digital camera to take on nights out with me. One that wouldnt be the end of the world if I lost it. So I decided to buy this camera, I got quiet a good deal from Argos with the camera, a decent sized memory card and a camera case for under £50.
Before using the camera I read the instruction manual and found the camera was quiete easy to use. The review seems positive enough up to now but the actuall using of the camera is ... ...out the flash was too bright so my friends just looked like bright blobs. I took the photo again standing further back this time with the picture being to dark. All my photos from this night out are pretty much useless as it is impossible to tell who is on the photo due to the brightness of the flash. I looked in the manual to see if there was some way of 'turining down' the flash but there wasnt.
Secondly, the time it takes for the camera to take ...

good value, good mode selection, good quality, well built, canon quality, good battery life, good resolution and quality, good manual controls, good LCD
clumpy, clunky design and controls, too big to be a true compact, interface pauses, zoom irritating, not worth the upgrade from G3 (*)
