Peavey Pro 12
Review of Peavey Messenger Pro 12 PA Speaker by
dandadda
Advantages: Great sounding, medium size
Disadvantages: N/A
...When I was investigating which PA speakers to invest in, Peavey were the ones that everyone I know seemed to recommend. I tried out a few pairs (which I will review on here in time) but these are the ones I bought so I will start with these.
The Pro-12 is from Peavey's 'Messenger Pro' range of speakers and, as speakers go, they are pretty good to look at. They are not massive and, according to the manual, they are 22.6" high, 16.3" wide and 14" deep. I won't argue with that. They are fairly easy to carry as they have well placed and comfortable handles on both sides of the speaker unit. I wouldn't like to carry them very far as they are quite heavy. Its quite easy to get them mounted onto speakers stands which is something that I think is very very important.
The speaker unit is covered in the black carpet material that seems to be...

Pro Mark Sticks, The Right Choice
Review of Pro Mark Drumsticks by
whitby_qpr
Advantages: Great feel, Tips are perfect, Good Weight
Disadvantages: Get cut up by cymbals.
...I've been playing drums for about 9 months now, and ive had a variety of sticks, ranging in wieght and size.
Ive invested in the Ahead Joey Jordison Signiature Sticks, but found them very heavy, and robust.
The next pair of sticks i bought were the Pro Mark 5A sticks, and i soon realised i'd made the right decision.
The Tips are perfect for double strokes, and the stick effortlessly fits in your hand, offering great control, allowing you to maintain fast beats for alot longer.
The only critisism of this product that I have so far found, is their duribility. After about 50 cymbal hits, I certaintly noticed the massive chunks dented around the stick, a problem i did not have for awile with the Ahead Sticks.
All things considerd though, these are great sticks for practice, as they offer a great feel, and a beautiful bounce, allowing...

Review of Sabian Pro Sonix Cymbal by
Dread_Head
Advantages: Good sound Sound and duribility
Disadvantages: Not the best looking or sounding
...I my sabian pro sonic cymbals came with my drumkit, they came second hand and were in good condition when i got them.
I've had them for over a year now i play the drums very often and they still look as good as the first time i bought them, they are very strong cymbals.
They also have quite a good sound but still no match for some of the more expensive cymbals out there.
but for their price id say they are excellent for Intermediate drummers who want cymbals which will not need replacment.
They have a large range of cymbals from hi hats, rides, crashes, splashes and china'sand they have a very large choice of sizes.
I would recomend this to intermetiade drummers who have a slow money intake becuase although some of them may be expensive but they will last....
