For example, the orange one has an orange label, pineapple a yellow one, and so forth.

These bottles of Vodka Reef come in packs of four. You get four of the same flavour per pack. They can be bought in the big supermarkets like Tesco and off sales shops. I bought mine in Tesco and paid £4.99 for each pack of four.
Each bottle gives you around 180 calories but this varies between flavours. For example, the Orange and Passion Fruit has 179 calories and the Mango and Apple gives you 184.

Orange and Passion Fruit:
This one is very sweet. I found that it was delicious at first but it soon became quite sickly. It seemed to almost stick to my tongue and teeth and leave me feeling that my whole mouth was coated in it. This is quite disappointing because I expected orange and passion fruit to be sharp and refreshing but just a little bit sweet.
Lemon and Lime:
This variety is best described as tangy. In fact it was too sour for me. The acidity of the lemon and lime seemed to overwhelm anything else. It was actually so sour that my mouth is watering as I think about it. (Imagine sucking a lemon and you will get the idea.) My least favourite.
Pineapple and Citrus:
I don't know quite where the pineapple went, but all I could taste was apples and vodka. Pineapple is my favourite fruit but I can honestly say that I couldn't detect it at all in this drink.
Red Berry and Kiwi:
Again, I found this sickly. The combination of flavours was quite heavy and it is the sort of sweet drink that can make you feel very unwell, very quickly (believe me, I know from experience.)
Mango and Apple:
This was drinkable but still very sweet. I think this is probably the one I would choose given the full range to select from. It isn't as sweet as some of the others but I still couldn't drink many of these.

**Cocktail Recipes**
If you find these a bit sickly as I do, you can always use your Vodka Reef to make one of these powerful cocktails, or even invent your own.
Sex on the sofa: Take: 1 oz vodka 1 oz peach schnapps 1 bottle WKD Iron Brew 1 bottle WKD Vodka Blue 1 bottle orange Reef Vodka Orange juice.
Pour all this into a jug and fill up with more orange juice. This is a powerful cocktail and is not as sweet as drinking Vodka Reef on its own. This makes a great party drink to serve from the jug and you can also swap the ingredients around a bit if you don't have all the flavours of WKD.
Green Monkey: 1/3 pint WKD Vodka Blue 1/3 pint Orange Reef Vodka 1/3 pint Smirnoff Ice
Pour into a pint glass (it's easier to measure that way). Stir and enjoy, but beware, this one has quite a kick and you can't really tell that it's affecting you until you get near the end. Hic!
**Use In Party Food**
Vodka Reef is excellent for soaking the sponge in when you are making a trifle. It beats the traditional sherry trifle and gives a much lighter flavour. I like to add orange Reef with an orange jelly.
You can also use a bottle of Reef to give jellies a kick. The red berry and kiwi one tastes wonderful in a lime jelly. Great party food for adults but maybe not suitable for the kids, although there won't be any more alcohol here than in a sherry trifle.
**Summary**
I personally don't find that I can drink many of these, although an occasional bottle of Vodka Reef is fine. If I had to choose I would say that my favourite is the mango and apple. These drinks are excellent for making cocktails because you can get the fruit flavours without having to bother with chopping fruit into a drink . (Remember the old Pimms cocktails with all that chopped fruit?)
During the festive season, or for adult dinner parties these do come in handy and I like to keep a couple in the cupboard for use in jelly, or trifles. You can make a wonderful trifle with one of these and your guests will never guess your secret, unless they have read this article.
These are certainly worth buying for the occasional drink, or offering to anyone who does have a very sweet tooth but they are also great as food cupboard standby for use when you want to produce something special without too much effort.
Please remember to eat your Reef trifle responsibly!
Advantages: It's cheap, good variety of flavours, it's 5%. Disadvantages: You can go over the top with them
...for the evening was chosen, Vodka Reef.
Reef was the first ever still alcopop sold, in fact I can't think of another one since either. It comes in a standard 275ml glass bottle with a tacky label that reads 'Vodka reef', the colour of the label depends on the flavour of the drink.
As far as I am aware there are currently four different flavours available, all still fruit juices blended with vodka, lucky for you lot I have tried them all, so I'll ... ...I have always been a Vodka and Orange drinker. The addition of the Passion Fruit though makes the drink taste far more exotic, but also a lot sweeter. Some people would find this one too sweet. 9/10
Lemon and Lime
This is far more tangy and zesty, one for those who don't have so much of a sweet tooth. The lemon and Lime is quite strong and completely masks the vodka in the drink, making it rather lethal. 8/10
Pineapple and Citrus
This one is ...

Advantages: Smooth fruity refreshing drink Disadvantages: Can be too easy to drink and quite sweet
Saturday night saw me starting off in a local Firkin pub. I don’t tend to go there that often but we passed by and saw lots of posters advertising offers and thought we’d give it a go.
Being a really girly girl who doesn’t like the taste of alcohol I looked straight away to see what alcopops were on offer. The offer until 8 that night was REEF – on BOGOF off – that’s Buy one get one free to you and me.
They had ... ...of each, orange and cranberry. £2.60 for two bottles!!!!! The bar man suggested I drank it in a glass with a lot of ice. I tried this first with the orange Reef and found it to be a very refreshing drink. It had a very strong fruity orange taste which I think would have tasted a bit sweet had it not been for the ice. Saturday night I was in the mood for getting drunk so when I had half finished the orange Reef I poured some of the cranbery Reef in ...

...A handy way to disguise vodka in with a lemon drink.
These drinks rely on their similarity to soft drinks to "mask" the alcohol. You therefore think you are drinking a refreshing soft drink.
Wrong!
With Reef, this is no different. However, Reef comes in a totally new concept to most "alco pops". This is that it in still rather than fizzy. Until now, the competitiors have been aiming their drinks at the "fizzy" generation. To liken them to Lemonade-type ... ...This tastes like a typical vodka based drink to me. Cold and with a bit of an aftertaste. The kick from these drinks is tremendous. Thanks to its 5%ABV content, it is a potent timebomb. The trouble you have with it is the ease at which it flows down your neck.
VERY QUICKLY.
It tastes so good and is so light to drink thanks to the lack of fizz, you soon end up drinking 6 or 8! While the fizz of a beer slows you down and lets you drink less, the ...

...and like that (and like vodka of course) will like this. This really is like drinking a J20 with a shot of vodka. If you have never had that then think Vodka and Orange with a hint of passion fruit which really does give it that little something extra instead of plain old vodka and orange. Very nice. Overall I would rate this 9 out of 10.

Vodka reefs come in 275ml bottles, most supermarkets, off-licences and clubs and pubs stock reef, but maybe not in all the flavours. They are found with your usual suspects of archers aqua, WKD and Smirnoff ice, these are packaged in a glass bottle with a ribbed effect neck on the bottle.
Our local safeways have been having two packs of four on offer for £7 which I think is really good value as I have been to a pub and ...

...planet. It is a bottled vodka and fruit juice drink that is available in a number of flavours. I tend to like them as they are still and the fruit juice does taste like real fruit juice so they are not too artificial tasting. The established flavours you can get them in are Kiwi and Red Berry (ok), Pineapple and Citrus (very refreshing), Apple and Mango (my personal favourite), Orange and Passion fruit (very tangy), Lemon and Lime (one for a hot ... ...you get. I found the vodka quite strong. It was noticeable enough to know you were drinking alcohol. I think this is good as some alcopops do not have the alcoholic taste and could get you easily sloshed. Then again these are very drinkable. The stillness of these makes them very easy to drink so watch it as they are 5% alcohol They are best drank cold with a lot of ice.
Would I Buy it Again.

Advantages: Nice to drink Disadvantages: Bad for you - medical risks
, coke, orange or lemonade, we are now in an era where mixers are anything!!!
I was drinking vodka mixed with reef over a xmas (and for those who are not sure reef is a bottle of vodka and fruit flavours). I know i over done it somewhat that night!!!! A very sore head in the am.
It is now thought popular to mix your vodka with red bull, lucozade, orange cordial or anything else alcholic. I must admit (again) that i have vodka and white wine shots.
So does it really matter the brand of the vodka when people mix it and change the taste anyway. ...
Advantages: Sweet, and helps you out at a party Disadvantages: A bit strong, and can be sickly
left), I cannot tell you much as it is in Spanish! But it does say it is 17% vol. It was foolish of me poring all this. It had a distinctive toffee taste, which is rather nice, but after a big swallow, it tastes rather strong, and I pulled the faces you do when the strength gets to you! (Not quite as bad as when we had 80% vodka from going to Estonia the previous year)! But I certainly was not expecting this to taste quite so strong.
I do not like baileys, but my mum said it is like baileys, but instead of coffee it is toffee. The colour is very similar, a sort of light creamy brown colour, with some thick texture to it!
I prefer this drink once I have had a bit to drink before hand, (such as VodkaReef). This way I cannot taste it so strong. There are probably people out there who can handle it better than me, but I do like it, but ...
Advantages: Tastes lovely, not sickly compared to other alcopops, and it makes your tongue blue! Disadvantages: makes you burp
Smirnoff Ice used to be my fav alcopop by far and I was quite stubborn when it came to trying anything else. But after trying the bubblegum goodness of WKD blue I have never gone back!
Alcopops have dominated the beverage market for a few years now but it seemed that many were just expensive remakes of the same thing, with little difference in the flavour between different brands.
However WKD blue thankfully rivaled this, offering a completely new refreshing taste to getting slightly tipsy or more.
The blue fizzy drink has a morish taste which seems to erase any trace that there is vodka in there. I find it alot less sickly to other similar products such as Reef.
I recommend WKD blue to anyone who enjoys alcopops, or wants to try something different. ...
