It is close to the wall and there is room for air between the back of the tv and the wallmount. I think i am going to have to go back andf purchase soem of the other accessories that can come with this product such as a wall column that hides the cables and power cord.
This was not only the cheapest online but the service was fab. Ordered at 3pm and was delivered next day as promised. Service is so important and as a serial online purchaser, i cant fault a thing. I wish others would be as good.

The Abbiecomp ABPRF57100 lcd / tft wallmount hangs the monitor so close to the wall that it is almost invisible as i comes away from the wall less than 2 cm. It is a very simple , neat design that could probably hold a plasma let alone my 20" Sharp lcd tv.
The instructions for mounting to the wall are detailed enough so that even with my limited DIY expertise is was all quite painless. The Sharp lcd tv stand was held on by the same four screws that i used to attach it to the wall bracket.
The hardest thing i had to decide on was where to mount my brand new shiny lcd TV , in the bedroom, dining room or games room! ...
