Advantages: speedy, good looking and economical
Disadvantages: potential gear box problems and pricey parts

I bought my little leo 3 years ago and have loved it ever since. Reasons to love it: It handles like a dream around corners. It is not a Golf! It is unbelievably economical - 330 miles to a tank (if not ragging it!) He feels solid and reliable. The only fault I have found so far............ The gearbox had to be replaced at 100,000 miles and set me back £1200 (huge expense). I am really interested to read that if I had had bearings replaced much ...

My Polo 1.0

Advantages: It's a great little city/town/country car. Its fabulously economic.
Disadvantages: No power steering on this particular model.

Very happy with my Polo

Advantages: Economical
Disadvantages: Interior workmanship could be a bit better

I have been very happy with my Polo, the economy rate is unbelievable even though it is a 1.9l, there have been no problems and I am the biggest advocate of the VW brand. So reliable, our family has owned about 10 in the past 7 years and never a breakdown. The boots space is something to behold, I havne'y come accross a car of this size with such a large boot space.
