Germans just do some things very well, and Volkswagen is one of those, these cars are as solid as tanks, feel cery safe, are reasonably priced and look good and the name speaks for itself - Peoplescar!
I drive a Golf IV, and have never had a problem with it, now I know that some volkswagen drivers must have problems so then we turn to the VW gargaes and services that they offer.
They offer an Emergency assistance should you break down which has proven to be efficient and is reasonbly priced at £50/annum.
VW has regurlarly been acclaimed as best car manufacturer (WhatCar? 2001) and regurlarly win awards for their design (Family Car Awards 2002).
I bought the car in Jersey at the Five Oaks dealership where the staff were freindly. not pushy on their sales and offer a good after service, although sometimes can take long or be too laid back to fix and order parts, that may be down to the fact they are the only dealership on the island and I wonder how much this can be a reflection of VW on the whole.
I would recommend to potential buyers as the cars are safe, reasonably priced, good looking, reliant and all in all a peoplescar.

Advantages: The car is fine so far but I dread having to seek warranty work Disadvantages: Insane lack of customer focus when issues involved were minor
