Great ride for the money

Advantages: You get alot of power!
Disadvantages: Being able to keep the maintance up!

I have always wanted a Volvo since I was about 13 years old. I am not 29 and have had my Volvo S70 for about 1 1/2 years. I love her. She has great power and comfort. I have taken her from MA to MD about once every month since I got her. I bought her used for a great price and miles on her was great too. On the Volvo Lot she was about $11,000 more then what I paid and the one on the lot had the same amount of miles and features. I have found that ...
...now then ever. Do to Volvo changing the look of the cars now. They stopped making my model in I believe 2001. So I you want it, it's most likely going to be used. I know The S70 will out last any other out there. If somebody whats too get a Volvo that's a great thing. It's stylish and great for the family. Advantages: A sports saloon car!
Disadvantages: Costly to repair!

Review of Volvo S70 2.4T

An Excellent Car

Advantages: Superb performance, excellent handling
Disadvantages: Watch that speedo

During the servicing of my Volvo S40 (see my separate report on that little lemon) I was fortunate that the servicing agents let me have the use of an S70 on a couple of occasions. The car was finished in a Peppermint Metallic colour which is a very pale green. The colour took some getting used to but the car was a gem. I read later the car had 170bhp but it felt much more, the power just came in so beautifully needing just a squeeze of the throttle ...
...dearer anyway. Volvo's have traditionally had a poor image compared with these makes but I think both BMW and Audi have been churning out the same product for 10 years now and take their customers for granted. Volvo show with the S70 that they can produce a superb car. ...

Better than you think

Advantages: General loveliness.
Disadvantages: Fiddley to replace headlamp bulbs.

I filled up before I left and drove 660 miles in total there and back and still had a weeks worth of petrol for gadding about on. Staggering miles per gallon

Advantages: Excellent fuel economy
Disadvantages: Does not have the luxury fittings of theV70
