I have owned this Car for about 6 years now. It was a very Luxury car when i purchased it and i'm glad to say it still is! The interior of it is very similar to that of a Mercedes S class which as we all know is the best of the best when it comes to luxury in saloon cars.
When i first bought this car the cd player broke straight away and i was told that it would cost in the region of £1000+ to get it fixed, now i was happy with listening to the radio so this has still not been fixed but other than that i have never had anything go wrong with it. And i would rather have no CD player than a car with a working Cd player but an unreliable car.
The Volvo s70 has a full leather interior as standard and electric front seats, which also have seat warmers which are very handy in the winter. as for leg room, i couldn't have asked for anything better, its a good looking Family car with a luxurious look and tons of room inside! I can have my seat all the way back and the passenger sitting behind still has leg room, which is hard to find in most cars.
The Drivers seat moulds to the shape of your body for easy comfort due to the 5 different settings you can chnage on the seat, like height and back support etc) My Volvo s70 is a automatic, it has the options of choosing various gear settings, like Economy, Winter and Sport. Economy is great for getting around the town, The winter mode is Great for when driving on icy roads as that combinded with the Tracksion control gives you a very safe and easeful drive, It will not go more than 30 mph when in winter.
Finally the sport mode Gives you great pleasure when on a motorway. And hour late for work..? no probs slip it in sport and your get to work and hour early! It accelerates like a Porsche and just when you think it has given you all it has to give, it chnages gear and gives you even more power! Whilst cruisin along the motorway you may feel like wanting to give your feet a rest..No problems just set the cruise control and take your feet of the pedals, its as easy as that flick of a switch. It boasts a milleage counter which shows you in detail MPG and average speed etc, just incase you wnated to know, it comes with Electric windows through out, automatic petrol tank opener and boot release.
6 Pre set channels on the radio and a 13 speaker sound system. Electric sun roof and Air conditioning is also installed and for those with small children a child seat pulls out from the arm rest providing a comfortable seat for them. Overall i would recommend this car to anyone as it is extremely realiable and efficient and at 29mpg not to bad at petrol for a 2.4 Litre car. It is old but still gives modern cars a run for their money as it offers alot of things which newer ones don't (160mph top speed!) And other than the cd player going wrong i do not have a bad word to say about it!
